19.01.2022 So guess what we got for Christmas...? Yes, it’s a dual cab fire truck! There are lots of good things about this updated vehicle, not least the capability to have more crew responding to an incident. We hope everyone has a safe and happy festive season and we’ll continue to serve our local community in the new year with our new friend.

19.01.2022 So sad to see this but we’re proud of Adam, one of our awesome Montville firies, who’s been helping up there this week. Thanks Adam!

12.01.2022 Montville RFB responded to another car fire this morning that was particularly difficult to extinguish. The 4WD had 80 litres of fuel, and additionally a gas tank which had exploded before we arrived. You can see the bulge in the roof from the explosion. As previously advised, car fires are extremely toxic and dangerous so please stay well away and call triple zero.
