23.01.2022 This week we have sadly lost one of our favourite woodworkers, Errol Nonmus. Errol was our lazy susan guru, turning 600mm lazy susans on the lathe, and also making beautiful bowls. We would like to extend our best wishes to Errol’s family and also our thanks to have known this charming and very talented man. RIP Errol, we miss you already. X

03.01.2022 Intarsia is a woodworking technique that uses varied shapes, sizes and species of timbers fitted together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. As you could imagine, plenty of skill, patience and a steady hand is necessary. This lovely lady chose the frogmouth owl as a gift to herself, reminding her of resident owls in her neighbourhood and adding to her collection by the very talented Fay Wassell.
