15.01.2022 It's a cold and windy day today in Robertson and I'm working on set lists for John and I for our next gig as The Mood Operators 12.30 to 3.30pm at the Robertson Pub this Sunday 11th August. We'll be playing a great range of funky soul and RnB numbers with plenty of jazzy grooves including numbers by the likes of Duke Ellington, Dizzie Gillespie, Herbie Hancock and lots more inbetween. If you're out and about in the Highlands on Sunday, drop by, have a burger, have a beer and say hi to us. Ron and John.

15.01.2022 Had a great open air gig with John at the Jamberoo Markets today. Played lots of of great classics my two favorites for the day being Cole Porter's 'Night and Day' and Dave Brubeck's 'Take Five'.

14.01.2022 We're doing a Valentine's day gig at Bombora Seafood restaurant in Wollongong this wedneasday from 5.30pm. Haven't played with mood operators for a while and certainly haven't done a Valentine's day before so definitely looking forward to this one. Got some great new material we're going to to try out as well as usual standards.

11.01.2022 Had a fun time rehearsing this great tune at Mali Brae Farm, a wedding venue close to Moss Vale. An awesome location run by Greg and Shelley Dark. Check out their web site.

11.01.2022 John and I had a great gig last night at the Merimbula Jazz Festival. Great crowd and we played some hot tunes my two favourites being Larry Carltons 'Smiles and smiles to go' and a jazzed up version of Jessica by the Allman Brothers. Looking forward to two more sets on sunday.

04.01.2022 Like yesterday, it's cold and windy again today in Robertson. John and I are both looking forward to our next gig as The Mood Operators 12.30 to 3.30pm at the Robertson Pub this Sunday 11th August. We've got a great set list of awsome tunes ready to go. Ron and John.
