25.01.2022 Our only filly for 2018 and the first filly for 4 years! Moondarra Elissja by PERONII MA from Eltesja (Emigrant x Elgara) today at 13 weeks of age.

24.01.2022 We are excited to announce that our imported in utero Ekstern colt, Peronii, from the lovely Eldon daughter Debowa Polana, is tested clear of SCID, CA and LFS. Paddy is now weaned and having life lessons.

24.01.2022 The result of the combination of Kyarnda Lodge Panache and El Tessa. Moondarra El Lara is proof of this breeding. She will be grey but her full sister Moondarra El Teena is now a stunning 4yr old chestnut mare being bred this year.

18.01.2022 So today was "gelding" day at Moondarra with three new extraordinary geldings. Moondarra Tyson by Samson Tai from Moondarra El Teena, Moondarra Eltyan by Chippendale V (US) from Eltesja (PL) and Moondarra Marcus by Kyarnda Lodge Panache from Moondarra Miraya

16.01.2022 And so the fourth and final foal for this season born at 12:15am today is a COLT. four from four, how lucky are we! A lovely chestnut colt by Kyarnda Lodge Panache from Moondarra Miraya, another maiden mare. Both dam and foal are well. photos later.

16.01.2022 Excited to announce that Peronii MA has served his first mare, with thanks to Richard Sharman for his help with this process. Peronnii MA is imported in utero and by the outstanding polish World Champion sire EKSTERN from our exotic DEBOWA POLANA (IMP). His mate was our imported polish mare ELTESJA (IMP) by Emigrant from Elgara.

16.01.2022 The extravagant purebred gelding Moondarra Code Red and Kellie Watson together with the elegant purebred mare Moondarra Elsoraja ridden by Kym Dyball, contending the halter and ridden classes at the Top of The Range Event as well as the Qld Arabian Horse of the Year Show. 15.01.2022 Moondarra El Tessera (pending) by POGROM (PL) from EL TESSA (PL) born 26.10.16 and photo 2.12.16. Teddy is a tall bay colt with minimal white (none on face). Expressions of interest are invited.

15.01.2022 Some time has now passed however, we are excited to post some photos from the visit of several WAHO delegates to Moondarra Arabians in early February, 2019. Our thanks to our photographers on the day, Sue Crockett and Liz Christensen for these fabulous memories.

15.01.2022 An update on the foals for 2018 with some new shots of them. This is Moondarra El Bhujan (Buck) grey colt/gelding by PERONII MA (Ekstern x Debowa Polana) from El Tessa (Poganin x El Ghazala) today at 10 weeks old.

14.01.2022 Moondarra Elsoraja, registered purebred mare, 4 yrs old, 15hh, of all imported bloodlines. Elsa is by the Australian Champion halter stallion Saudi El Perseus from our imported polish mare Eltesja (Emigrant x Elgara). Elsa is bred "in the purple" to be an outstanding performance mare or an exceptional breeding prospect and we invite enquires. Her price does not reflect her breeding, quality and future performance/breeding excellence.

14.01.2022 Congratulations to the new owners of Moondarra El Diron. Ronnie, a 6 yr old imported polish gelding, has already completed 2 x 20ks and 1 x 40k endurance ride and with his new partner is destined to grace the endurance tracks of SE Qld and beyond for many years. We wish them well in their future endeavours.

13.01.2022 Moondarra Poznan, yearling grey registered purebred arabian gelding. Halter trained and all the relevant handling has been done. By Kyarnda Lodge Panache from the imported polish mare Debowa Polana, a successful racing mare in Poland before we purchased her, with several progeny over 15.3hh. so we would assume 15hhplus. Panache has numerous progeny in Australia and overseas very successful in endurance, with great HR's and recoveries. Pozzie is priced to sell in the current market. Photos taken in February, 2019. 12.01.2022 On Friday morning our imported polish mare Eltesja produced a lovely bay going grey colt by Chippendale V. Full brother to Moondarra Elvis and destined to be a star of the future.

11.01.2022 The final foal for 2018 was, of course, a colt by KYARNDA LODGE PANACHE (Arabian Lodge Andre x Burnham Adjanette) from Debowa Polana (Eldon x Debowa Gora) photos today at 2 weeks of age.

10.01.2022 At 7:00am this morning we welcomed our third foal for the 2016 season and of course its another colt. Looks like we will have an outstanding lot of performance horses in a couple of years. He is BIG and BAY (though may go grey) by POGROM (PL) from EL TESSA (PL). Photos later.

10.01.2022 Moondarra El Bhajan, pure arabian and pure polish yearling gelding, for sale. Buck is by PERONII MA (by Ekstern from Debowa Polana) and from EL TESSA (Poganin x El Ghazala). Born September 2018, he is fully registered and clear of SCID, CA and LFS. Buck has great prescence, athleticism and correct conformation, he should mature 15HH plus. 10.01.2022 Last Saturday our polish mare El Tessa (by Poganin from El Ghazala) foaled a big chestnut turning grey colt. He was a challenge due to escaping the foaling yard after birth much to his dams displeasure and then decided the water trough in the stable was the only sustenance he needed. Suffice to say we had an issue but he is now drinking from his dam and all is well. He is by our junior polish colt Peronii (by Ekstern from our other imported mare Debowa Polana) and the second of his foals to be born, and we are excited for his breeding future if these two foals are anything to go by.

09.01.2022 Thank you to the Downs Arabian Group Committee and volunteers for a great Youth NonPro show at Laidley on the 29 July. Congratulations to Kellie Watson riding Moondarra Code Red for his Reserve Champ Purebred under saddle win. And thanks to Tracey Muller for several fabulous shots, as the ones included.

07.01.2022 On a sadder note, we said our goodbyes to the matriarch of our stud Moondarra Mirage, due to age and ill health complications. Mirage was 32 1/2 years old being by Mustafa from the pure crabbet mare Bright Light. She is survived here at Moondarra by her only Australian resident female Moondarra Miraya, who is currently on lease to Lyndell Abercrombe and in foal to the wonderful Espadero. 04.01.2022 Exciting visit from the vet this afternoon with 2 of our 3 imported polish mares, Eltesja and El Tessa positive tested in foal to our new imported in utero polish colt, Peronii. Both settled on their first cycle and looking forward to a special September 2018.

03.01.2022 Moondarra Marcus (pending) a lovely chestnut colt born 28.10.16 by Kyarnda Lodge Panache from Moondarra Miraya. This colt is a 3/4 sibling to Moondarra Maya, the very successful endurance horse in the UAE. Marcus will be available for sale and your interest is welcomed.

02.01.2022 Today we said au revoir to Moondarra Elsoraja, who has been sold to a wonderful new family in FNQ. Elsas departure was delayed when she hooked her legs through wire and cut to the bone. She spent 11 weeks in her stable, bandaged. Elsa managed this well, a testament to her temperament. Luckily she did not sever tendons or ligaments, just a lot of flesh and mucle. Her healing has been miraculous and we owe a lot to the "Golden Honey Balm" and consistant bandaging along with a lot of great vet work. Her athletic ability will not be changed in any way. I wish her new owners much luck with her, such a sweet mare. Here are couple of photos from last years show season, at the Challenge with Kym Dyball riding and at the Aussie Youth Champs with Kyms son Lochlan in halter.

02.01.2022 Well our second foal Moondarra Tyson (pending) of the season was born in the minutes just after 12:00 midnight. Our maiden mare Moondarra El Teena (Kyarnda Lodge Panche from El Tessa (PL) had a HUGE chestnut colt by Samson Tai. Photos when he unscrunches a bit more. He has white socks a blaze and looks to have the rubicano gene from Samson as well.

02.01.2022 Introducing Moondarra Tyson (pending) by Samson Tai from Moondarra El Teena (Kyarnda Lodge Panache x El Tessa (PL)) at 7 days old. He is showing a lot of the rubicano gene with flecking and ticking to withers shoulders and flanks and the bars of white accross the butt of his tail. Will be a very pretty gelding. And tall as Teena is 15.2 hh. this being her maiden foal.

01.01.2022 Congratulations to Renee Dawkings and Kane Kelso on the purchase of Moondarra El Sharaaf. Rifraf, as we nicknamed him, is destined for great performance events in their capable hands. We wish them well for the future. And since he has been with them, he has completed 1 x 20k and 2 x 40k endurance ride. We know there will be more success in the future. 01.01.2022 We are excited to announce the arrival of the first of two foals due this season by our polish colt PERONII MA. And its a filly. Our first filly in three years. By PERONII MA (Ekstern x Debowa Polana) and out of our imported polish mare Eltesja, who is an Emigrant daughter. She is a stunner, photo to follow as I am in Sydney for the Youth Championships and I have yet to see her.
