23.01.2022 At the risk of getting plenty of hate l need to vent & its been a long time coming ... Moondoggie is proud of its achievements over the last 3 years & the review's validate that ... My goal was always about raising awareness that despite this area being largely famous for the arrival of lieutenant James Crook in the year 1770. There's a culture here that exisited way before that ... yes l know he was only following orders l get it , but 250 yrs later its still not right nor w...ill it ever be that our indigenous brothers & sisters suffered greatly for the sake of colonization .... No l'm not indigenous but my wifes family has bloodlines which makes my kids have a tiny connenction to the oldest civilisation on earth. Where am I going with this? I have had the worst Christmas/ New year/holiday trade since I started...why? Someone said to me you need to do more marketing..really? It's simple, because l refuse to pay ransom money to organizations like @GAPDL, who do nothing more than put flyers that l paid for out of my own pocket in there visitor center , position depending on how much l pay & l never got a booking anyway, is exploitation at its best. They will promote the National parks l work in without so much of a mention of me if you dont have a 4wd as an alternative, all because l dont fill there coffers with coin ... Who gave them the right to charge me money for making people aware that the whole show is running on stolen land ... I'm trying my best to let average folks feel a connection to country on my tours yet crew sitting in an office in Gladstone & Bundy feel entitled to determine my success by the amount of money l contribute to there corporate greed ... National park fees, Marine park fees etc for what? Management? Our Goreng Goreng brothers & sisters were managing just fine ... yes l charge money for tours, to cover costs & fees to let people know that this was a land that had a civilization that lived in harmony with the environment, whats good for the land comes first , yet still to this day, even after 250 yrs we are still raping & pillaging this beautiful place on earth , screwing each other to make more bucks at whatever cost ... I wont be participating in the 1770 festival for my own personal beliefs. l stick to facts also , so l can honestly relate as to why indigenous Australia still feels disillusioned with where we are headed ... Always was & always will be Aboriginal land. The government charging me to make that point is criminal. l guess nothings changed. See more

Thank you to all of you amazing people who helped support Moondoggie & the beautiful souls i met on tour ... Just putting it out there that one of my clients lost their Go-Pro this morning in a lesson at main beach (...along with all the mental footage of them shredding). Anyway the Go-Pro is attached to a black elastic head strap and we’re hoping that if anyone finds it or hears about it we’d be very appreciative if they/you were to send it our way.
