21.01.2022 On Thursday12 November, Hamton and Hostplus together with Moonee Valley Racing Club celebrated the official opening of the half hectare Tote Park at Moonee Valley Park. Green open space has never been more valued by Melbournians, with a recent survey by the Victoria National Parks Association revealing that over 50 per cent of Victorians value access to natural areas and parks more as a result of recent Covid-19 restrictions. Tote Park is the first amenity to be completed w...ithin the $2 billion, 40-hectare redevelopment of Moonee Valley Racecourse. Hamton's Executive Chairman Paul Hameister, believes that a key part of the recovery of Melbourne relies on the public and private sector working together to invest in social and community infrastructure, in particular new active and passive open space in inner and middle ring suburbs, that will re-establish the world-class livability of our great city. Tote Park is located on McPherson Street, Moonee Ponds and is now open to the public. See more

16.01.2022 Nature is very important to us. That's why it's one of the top elements in our vision for Moonee Valley Park. But it's not easy being green. According to a recent study by RMIT, 2,000ha of tree cover has been lost in Melbourne over the past five years as housing replaces the humble backyard. To branch out and embrace a greener life at Moonee Valley Park, we're planting a tree on behalf of every Feehan Row purchaser within our beautiful Tote Park or Glenara Walk. One for one and a chance to let our purchasers stories take root.
