25.01.2022 Photographing this little cutie was quite difficult... not surprising, since she measures just 11cm to the top of her head! This pet memorial was a very special order, as I don't usually work so small, but she squeezed in nicely between other works in progress. #smallandsweet

My heartfelt thanks to all of you Receiving comments such as I had no idea how much effort goes into these, I hope youre charging enough and that was a week of full-time work!... seriously underpriced well, this feedback is more valuable to me than a cash payment! And, while its true that my ...sculptures sell for half the price of those by comparable artists (my idols), I just feel so lucky and incredibly grateful to be able to do what I love every day. But I was urged by a recent client to somehow share the time and dedication that goes into a sculpture. 24.01.2022 Some mini March madness to lighten the mood. When my client found this hat in a thrift store, her imagination went straight to a pair of climbing rats! These tiny sculptures (approx. 6cm each) are fondly named 'Lub & Dub'

21.01.2022 I just received this feedback, so can now share JET, who was created late last year and has been a secret until now. "Yesterday was my brother's 30th birthday... I gave him his little Jet and he ABSOLUTELY loves him. He said 'he's absolutely perfect' and couldn't stop smiling. Thanks again for your mastery in felt, it made someone I dearly love very happy".

15.01.2022 It was a privilege and a pleasure working with Angela to create this likeness of a very special little fur baby, Cadbury. The loss of this baby was both tragic and unnecessary and devastated the family. I hope this sculpture can return some sweeter memories and help in the healing process.

13.01.2022 I nearly fell off my chair with excitement when I was contacted by Johnny DePalma last year! Johnny is an American author of some amazing (and DIFFERENT) childrens books (http://umbrellybooks.com/). Hes also the founder of Howl at the Moon Day and an all-round NICE guy. The challenge was to create a 3D sculpture from the sensational artwork of Johnnys illustrator, Kyle Brown, for Johnnys latest story based on the 52htz whale (go on look it up... itll have you weeping). Due for release in the coming months, I've now been given the go-ahead to share #lovewhales #umbrellybooks

04.01.2022 LONG POST BUT PLEASE READ! January 26th marks Australia Day and what a sad state our beautiful country finds itself in. Devasting fires, floods, record breaking heat, drought, catastrophic storms with hail the size of tennis balls, and hundreds of millions of native animals perished! While Nature is sprouting green, healing herself as she always does, the animals caught up in these disasters desperately need our help. Thats why Ive created a clearance section in my Etsy... store, where items have been permanently reduced by as much as 50% (savings for you) and for every single item sold in my store between now and January 31st (excluding custom orders), Ill be donating $25 to WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service), to help care for and rehabilitate the animals that have survived. 04.01.2022 This sculpture looks a little hairier than usual due to the extensive use of Sir Cardigans own fur in the top coat. This memorial piece had several specific inclusions; such as ear and nose features and a subtle apricot coloured saddle - all essential to capture a true likeness of this stunning boy!
