23.01.2022 EOI Talent and temperament Brown WB filly born 12.10.2018... Lovely floating movements from parents with brilliant temperaments. Bloodlines include; Fishermans Friend, Carbine, SkyHigh, Salute, Ludendorf and Contact. Champaz is well-handled for her age; loads onto truck or float, stands for farrier and a bath. I bred both her parents and with change in circumstances are looking for expressions of interest in her; however, I am in no rush to part with this cute girl. 03.01.2022 Eventing drought over! We went eventing at Warwick on the weekend for a fabulously fun event. Massive praise to the entire committee and everyone involved for such a well run competition. 03.01.2022 Next up we hear from BetaVet ambassador Millie Fitzgerald Unlike many of us, I wasn’t born and raised around horses. When I was 12 my parents finally cave...d and bought me my first horse, from there it just snowballed! As soon as I turned 15 I began riding trackwork in Gympie, and it wasn’t long before one of those race horses ended up in our back yard. I retrained and sold many racehorses through my teenage years to purchase myself two warmblood broodmares and begin breeding horses aimed at eventing. Fast forward to now, over the past two years I have had to retire both my 3* horses due to minor injuries, so my current team consists entirely of horses I have bred (including 3 half-sisters) not a bad feeling! I teach juniors at high school, as well working with racehorse’s morning and afternoon, so it takes some intense organisation to get the team going. I usually only have 2 or 3 in work depending on what the competition schedule looks like so I can do them justice. Luckily for me my horses have great attitudes (most of the time) and easy to keep happy. My favourite BetaVet product by far is; Prepare. The difference in how the horses look and act when on this product is amazing. They are happier and look generally healthier. With 3 of 4 horses on my team being mares, Regumare is a staple in my feed shed. I always have some Gastri-Tech and Echinacea Premier on hand when competing for my stress heads! 12.10.2021 Since Denny’s passing Charmer has been the longest running team member. I’ve had Charmer all her life, I scrambled together $500 to save her from tick paralysis when she was 3 months old - if I paid the bill, she was mine. I was 12 at the time and had big plans for her not realising that I would grow and she would not I broke her in myself and took her to a few PC days before realising I looked totally stupid on her Since then she has given me some beautiful babies ...that have become the BEST kids ponies; winning and competing everywhere in everything! Currently she is being a foster mum down in Toowoomba. She was born to be a mum, she has watery milk 24/7 and only takes being around a foal 12hrs for the real stuff to kick in She’s worth nothing financially but she will be with me forever #quarterpony #quarterhorse #ridingpony #fostermum #milkbar
