22.01.2022 The teenage bottomless pits requested loaded fries so this is The Moonlit Sip's take: crispy chips layered with smokey barbecue pulled beef, fried mushrooms, shaved aged cheddar and fresh rosemary. A Camembert version probably wouldn't go astray either... Available for takeaway lunch/dinner until sold out.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone It is now a full week since we reopened on Wongabel street. It has been a busy few weeks with lots of ups and downs. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who dined with us and to everyone that has provided us with feedback over the past week. I can guarantee that all feedback is appreciated and will be reviewed and actioned. While we settle in to our new larger kitchen and dedicated bar area we have many new initiatives were looking to impleme...nt over the next few weeks. These include footpath dining and live music amongst many other ideas. Ive included some photos from opening night below. 18.01.2022 The Moonlit Sip is ready to open the doors on Saturday, 21 March 2020. Normally, this would be a big celebration with lots of fanfare. However, right now we're all watching the unprecedented onset of the COVID-19 virus. We want everyone to be safe and healthy and so we have decided to tone down our opening night to a "soft" opening with a limited "safe" menu. Please be assured that we have the community's best interests in mind. As a new venture, we want people to drop in, sa...y "hi", and hopefully stay for a while, in a relaxed, al fresco setting. Our staff are extra vigilant about hygiene, hand washing, and cross-contamination. To be extra safe, we have decided to open with a limited menu. Our regular menu has some fabulous share platters, but we have decided to put them on hold so no-one is put at extra risk. Instead, we will provide individual serves of our sous vide beef ribs and sticky chicken wings with salad and wedges. We will also have some Camembert and Brie on hand because our amazing and exclusive range of champagnes and wines demand nothing less! 18.01.2022 Weve been perfecting the recipe for our signature cocktail, The Riviera Float, to showcase the fabulous Royal Riviera Champagne. This is definitely an in-house experience so we cant serve it up yet but, when we get back to regular programming, this baby is waiting! The Riviera Float contains dairy so weve also created a non-dairy version, The Riviera CocoFloat. (on the corner of Marshall Lane at the Stavros The Greek site). Weve been working hard behind the scenes and well open our new doors this Friday, 26th June 2020. There will be a few minor changes while we get used to our new digs. Dont worry though, the champagne, wine, gin and whisky have all made it safely across (and the bubbles are chilling in the fridge right now ). For the next few weeks well be embracing our new indoor space (out of the elements ) while we wait for the footpath dining permit to be processed. 15.01.2022 We still have the perfect weather for cold drinks so we've fired up the slushie machine. This is a super-tangy and refreshing lemon, lime and coconut mix. Right now it's alcohol-free but it's very easy to make it dirty! If you want the alcoholic version, we have to sell it to you with food but it's kinda begging for chicken wings anyway...

03.01.2022 Hello to all friends and supporters of The Moonlit Sip, After a long wait, were happy to announce that our footpath dining permit is approved. We can now welcome back our canine visitors and we have blankets and heaters available for our human customers while the evenings are chilly. Just a reminder that we are trading out of the old "Stavros The Greek" and Sunset Bar premises. Were still waiting on some paperwork and permits to be finalised so we cant update the signa...ge just yet. Our new signs are ready and waiting to install hopefully next week! 03.01.2022 Well, after our opening night we have been caught up in the Covid-19 shutdowns. We would like to keep operations up and running but we now are limited to takeaway-only. We are looking into two takeaway options: providing hot, ready-to-eat meals, or pre-prepared meals that you can heat at home with no fuss. Whatever option we go with, we will take payment over the phone and stagger pick up times so everyone stays safe. Please, let us know your preference for hot or cold takeaw...ay.
