21.01.2022 Did you know we also have an onion peeling facility on-site at Moonrocks? This very cool machine allows us to dramatically reduce our waste by peeling perfectly imperfect products that aren't quite fit for the supermarket shelves due to marks, sizing etc. This peeled product then goes onto various clients across Australia who may slice or dice them for kitchens, fast food outlets and the like! Pretty cool, hey!

21.01.2022 It’s been all systems go at Moonrocks over the last month with the launch of our new garlic powders under our G'Day Garlic brand! We’ve also been busy planting 2021 crops, whilst we continue to pack and send our onions and garlic to Aussie Coles stores across Australia! This paddock has gone from bare to green with the first of our 2021 garlic breaking through the surface

17.01.2022 WE ARE HIRING! Moonrocks has multiple job vacancies for our impending Onion & Garlic season in St. George, QLD. We will need to fill the following positions starting from October through until the end of January.... Onion and Garlic Packing Shed: - Sorters - Packers - Stackers - Quality Assurance Officers - Forklift drivers Must have experience - foreign experience accepted as we work with a RTO to facilitate your Australian Licence while on the job. Onion Harvest: - Tractor Drivers - Truck Drivers Providing transport between Moonrocks sheds. Must have a HC Licence. Foreign truck licence accepted. Please include details of which state you are currently located in. Accommodation is available on-farm in our Staff Living Quarters, and applicants are required to comply with COVID regulations and our business health plan. For the right applicant we can possibly assist with arranging relevant border passes. These roles are an hourly rate, plus superannuation. We do not pay cash in hand, we will provide you with a printed pay slip each week. Applicants must have a valid visa/tax file # and have a superannuation account (or be prepared to open one). These roles fill second and third year visa requirements.

01.01.2022 We couldn't do what we do without the wonderful team from Nolan’s Transport We've been working with Nolan’s Transport for many years and they help us cart our fresh produce from St. George to locations all over Australia! During our peak periods we can have 3-4 of their trucks departing the farm per day, so you could say we know the team pretty well!
