19.01.2022 A Grade Round 4 Results Moonta 4/128 defeated Wallaroo 8/126 Batting: A Maidment 63, S Carter 40*, S Moss 12... Bowling: S. Moss 4/10, H Platten 2/37, B Pedler 1/16 Another solid performance by the A Grade yesterday. Firstly restircting Wallaroo to at total of 126 on a good batting wicket. Then chasing it down with 6 overs and 6 wickets spare. Highlights of the bowling included a great bowling partnership between S. Moss and B Pedler in the middle overs. Then two batting partnerships of 47 and 74 between A. Maidment and S.Moss and A. Maidment and S. Carter respectively that chased the total down with ease. This takes the A Grade to 4 Wins out of 4 and a game clear on the ladder. They take on Kadina at home next week and hopefully can continue that winning run. #godees

Dennis 4/7, J Henderson 3/25, S Moss 1/9 A real gutsy win by the A Grade yesterday after being 3/6 early in their innings an 81 run partnership between A. Maidment & J. Ritter saw Moonta to a defendable score. J Henderson then bowled a superb opening spell into the wind taken crucial wickets, with M. Dennis then coming into the attack and finishing the job. This is the first time Paskeville A Grade have lost a game since the 23rd of February 2019, and also the first time Moonta has beaten Paskeville A Grade at Paskeville since October 2013. #godees

13.01.2022 A Grade Round 8 Results Moonta 7/166 defeated Paskeville 9/165 Batting: A Maidment 48, S Carter 45, J Henderson 39... Bowling: S Moss 3/23, J Henderson 3/33, A Davis 2/28, B Pedler 1/36 A great game of cricket today, with Moonta A grade winning by 1 single run. After winning the toss and batting first J Henderson and A Maidment had a solid partnership upfront, with S Carter coming and scoring run a ball 45, getting us to a defendable score. Highlights of the bowling included a great bowling partnership between S. Moss and B Pedler in the middle overs. With J Henderson and H Platten bowling well at the end finishing the game off for us. The A grade now go into the break undefeated and hope to continue this form into the new year. #godees

M Dittmar 30 S Durdin 27 T Kernich 16 Bowling C Marchetto 3/12 D Graefe 2/14 Great effort today by the B grade in hot conditions. Started off with some great bowling and fielding. Batting we lost a few early wickets then the middle order really stepped up and help guide us to victory. Great way to finish the season coming into our Christmas break. Parents/Carers will be able to provide contact details at Moonta Area School immediately after school next Wednesday (Sep 23). We'll use your contact information to provide details about training and how to register once registration is open. Moonta CC committee members will be outside the primary school buildings next to the outdoor tennis/basketball courts. They will st...ay until 4:30. There will also be an option to express interest on Saturday September 26 at the Moonta Cricket Club (12:15 - 1:00).
