24.01.2022 COVID Safe Check-In will roll out from today, to enhance contact tracing and keep our community COVID safe. Steps are easy: 1. Download or log in to the free MySA GOV app (currently only available on Google Play but will be available on the App Store later this afternoon) 2. Scan the QR code with your phones camera... 3. Enter the details and one-time security code 4. Done! The mySA GOV app will host the COVID SAfe Check-In feature, which once opened, will allow you to scan our QR code. The app securely collects limited personal information as you enter a business or venue. Your details will only be kept for 28 days and will only be released to SA Health for official contact tracing purposes. What's Happening on this Long Weekend Come and enjoy a ri...de on our Moonta Mines Tourist Train, visit our Moonta Mines Museum. Our Sweet Shop will have the Lions Donut Van there to entertain and feed you to add to your visit to this very popular little shop. Ian Archibald who is a very talented photographer (and train driver) has put together a photographic collection of Old Meets New depicting the Moonta Mines National Heritage Listed Precinct. This exhibition is at the Moonta Tourist Office (old Railway Station). Photos are available for sale. We also have lots of Lucky Dips perfect for that Kris Kringle Christmas Present. Our Moonta History Centre in Ellen Street, has a very informative display of Moonta Lands Titles and Mortgages particularly focusing on people or companies that borrowed from the Hamley Lodge. The Moonta Open Gardens are also featuring our Miner’s Cottage and Heritage Garden tickets are $10 and available for purchase from the Moonta Tourist Office and other venues.
