21.01.2022 Know someone worthy of a shout out? It’s been an intense start to the year for our emergency services with major bushfires and the worst Tropical Cyclone w...e have experienced in decades. Thousands of volunteers, career firefighters and DFES personnel from across the State, have day after day, week upon week been ensuring the WA community is kept safe. They don’t do it for the recognition, but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be recognised! The WA Fire and Emergency Services Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding efforts and dedication of our selfless emergency services family. To submit a nomination visit www.dfes.wa.gov.au/awards and tell us about your nominees significant contribution to emergency services in WA. Nominations close on Monday, 17 May 2021 at 8am, so get in quick if you’d like to submit a nomination!

19.01.2022 On Saturday 4 of our members traveled down to the Beekeepers Nature Reserve fire on Deployment thanks to all who assisted and thanks to the members who are preparing to be apart of the next strike team

18.01.2022 TC Seroja is long gone, but it will be some time before the communities impacted are back to some kind of normality. These numbers give you an insight into the ...mammoth scale of the response in our Midwest. Our State and Regional Operations Centres continue to manage resources across WA so that we are prepared for anything. Thank you to all our partner agencies who have supported us on the ground and behind the scenes. Though our Metro and Peel areas are going into lockdown, rest assured that your emergency services remain ready to respond when you need us.
