25.01.2022 Tedera demonstration 2020-2023 Tedera is a new drought tolerant perennial legume pasture originating in the Canary Islands (off Morocco) and developed by DPIRD. It offers the prospect of achieving live weight gain over summer and autumn without the need for expensive grain supplements. The first commercial seed of Tedera was released to growers in 2019. This project led by MMPIG will demonstrate and assess the potential of Tedera (at 5 sites) to increase the liveweight of sheep (ewes and/or lambs) and cattle in summer and autumn (over 3 years). 16.01.2022 Tedera Field Walk Wednesday 31st March 4.00pm Pankee, Walebing Site on Gabalong West Rd 1.5km east of Great Northern Hwy ... Tedera is a new perennial legume pasture capable of producing out of season liveweight gain in sheep and cattle. MMPIG has a MLA funded Producer Demonstration Site project measuring animal production from 4 local stands. 05.01.2022 Back again at Shire of Moora It was Moora Miling Pasture Improvement Group event which bought us back to Moora. We catered for a mixture of dietary requirements... and personal choices. The event was at a shearing shed. We are self sufficient. Anytime, anywhere LV PS: Sorry for the bad lighting!
