02.01.2022 Message from the Captain With Christmas just around the corner, I would like to wish everyone on behalf of all the members of the Moora VFRS a safe & merry Christmas & a happy new year. On Christmas Eve the truck will be driving around Moora from 5pm, the the big guy in the red suit, handing out lollies, this worked so well last season we thought we would have to do it again. As always please take care on the roads during this festive season.

02.01.2022 Wooroloo Downgraded! The mammoth blaze we have been fighting to contain has finally been downgraded to a Bushfire Advice! This has been an incredibly compl...ex incident, with over 800 emergency services personnel and firefighters from several different services, working together each day to protect lives. It has been most challenging for those who have lost homes to this devastating fire. Their loss is felt strongly by the entire emergency services family, and we stand by you during this difficult time. We think this photo sums up our collective relief thank you sincerely for your ongoing support and patience. There is still much to be done before the area is completely safe, and we will continue to work around the clock to keep you informed and safe. Check the latest info at www.emergency.wa.gov.au. 02.01.2022 We had a few of our boys involved with some burning off back in April for the Moora Speedway, we used this as a training drill for members to watch & learn the nature of paddock fires in a controlled situation. Thanks to Nic Parry for the drone footage
