23.01.2022 Star Class Riders Moora Horse Trials are gauging interest of riders that are planning to attend our event on June 12 & 13 riding in the 2* and 3* class and number of horses. Please comment your feedback below.

20.01.2022 the early years Thank you Aimee Tinsley for digging into the archives for this great shot. In 2000 MooraHT only ran two classes; Intro (eva80) and Prelim (eva90). The hay rack was the third last fence of the Intro course and was located in the south east corner of the pony club grounds (now back of the dressage arenas) for a couple of years before being relocated to the shearing shed. ... Did you ever jump the hay rack? Have historical images from Moora? We would love to see!

19.01.2022 *** 95 riders *** Your showjumping will be delayed by 1 hour. The course will be open for walking at 12:50.

19.01.2022 Our final photographer from the weekend has started his uploads. How great are the colours in this picture!

18.01.2022 Preparations for our June event are well underway with our team of pyromaniacs at the grounds last weekend raking and burning anything they could get their hands on. This weekend event coordinator Annalise learnt how to drive a bobcat and has been buzzing about moving portables and building jumps. There has also been plenty of clearing of trees and painting of jumps happening as well. ... Here’s praying we get good rain in May!

17.01.2022 Did you see the WoodShield posts on display at the weekend? White and black 3 metre Showjumping rails are on their way west! These posts are not only a great option for showjumps and training rails, but also a fantastic fencing post as horses cannot chew them! ... Contact Len, Moyra and the team at Gingin Trading to place your order.

16.01.2022 Unmounted presentations in the main arena at 3:40pm.

16.01.2022 One Star Riders It's the moment you have all been patiently waiting for! There were a number of riders who came within 2-3 seconds of the optimum time showing a great display of accurate riding.... But the rider who has won free entry to the Diamond class at 2021's Equestrian In The Park is Hannah Richardson! Coming within 1 second of the optimum time! Congratulations Hannah. We can't wait to see you galloping along the banks of the Swan River at Crown Perth later this year!

16.01.2022 Jordyn Colleran Photography has wasted no time uploading images from yesterday, with just the 95, 80 and 65 to go!

15.01.2022 A little giggle to get you through the rest of the week. Eventing Nation are running a competition for the best photographed long spot. There are some sensational submissions in the comments of their post; some very brave/silly/clever ponies out there! ... Do you have a classic long spot photo?!

09.01.2022 It has been an interesting weather week for a lot of WA. From the absolutely devastating bush fire in the Perth Hills, to the tropical low travelling down the coast bringing flash flooding to large parts of the mid-west and wheatbelt. Today alone Moora townsite received over 68mls! After cancelling our event in 2020 it was decided we would do some major aerovating to our grounds once they had received some good rain. That rain finally came 9 months later - and now it’s highly likely our machinery will get bogged!

08.01.2022 What a weekend! Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for your continued support. To riders for supporting us in another date change - I think we got the date right this time. Though Sundays fog certainly made things interesting! ... To those who were understanding and patient while our scorers worked tirelessly to get the final results out after Ktrials continued to crash all day Sunday. And to the amazing band of volunteers that make this event happen. Your passion and commitment is unmeasurable. See you in 2022! Jordyn Colleran Photography

08.01.2022 We regret to inform you that due to the current situation gripping the world MooraHT have decided to cancel our 20th anniversary event in June 2020. The decision was not taken lightly, and while it would have been lovely to have something to look forward to, the safety of our committee, community, riders and spectators is the most important thing to consider. We hope to see eventing back towards the end of the year and wish those committees luck. ... For now keep riding and stay safe

07.01.2022 In celebrating 20 years of Moora Horse Trials we would love to share images from the early years of our event! If you have any pictures from prior to 2009 please pm them along with details of the image. We are hoping someone might have some great shots of the really early years!

06.01.2022 What are Annalise and Nat up to here! Could some changes in the parking area be happening?!?

02.01.2022 Everyone would also be wearing a red ribbon

01.01.2022 That’s a wrap for another year! As always a huge thank you to; Our hard working little team for giving up your weekends, and plenty of week days, for months leading up to the event. The brothers, husbands and boyfriends who think we’re all crazy but help us anyway. ... The incredible sponsors, new and old, you are all wonderful. The kind people who asked if there was anything extra they could do to help during the event. Local community members for assisting us in times of need. And lastly the riders who supported us with our date change. We hope to see you all again next year to celebrate 20 years of Moora Horse Trials. See more
