21.01.2022 Family and friends gathered last Friday (25 Sept) at the BKB Cultural Centre in Northam to see the launch of Nancy Henry's new business venture called MUNGART YOK (Jam tree Women). This was an incredible event for Nancy as it was culmination of persistence, determination and courage to get it everything ready for the night. In fact Nancy's art pieces and designs lit up the room with her paintings and merchandise circling the floor, it was simply awesome. She also informed the crowd that a book she wrote about her journey so far and some of her perspectives in life was being released on the same day as well as a new Website and Facebook page. Our heart-felt congratulations from the Noongar Enterprise Development Support (Moorditj Yaakiny Project)

07.01.2022 'York Ballardong Arts and Tourism Pop-Up' have formed a new and exciting partnership with the 'Paint York REad' project to create a 'welcome pack' for new babies returning home to York. These packs, among other things, are to be filled with local Aboriginal designed items, hand-made by local participants of the York Ballardong Pop-up Gallery. The mascot for this initiative is the Nyingarn, otherwise known as the Echidna. Pictured, Sarina Narkle, Meg Boyle, Aunty Audrey, Mia Davis MLA.
