23.01.2022 Back into the slab making last night. With lots of ideas in my head for designs I thought I’d start with this one, a botanical vibe. It reminds me of the Australian native Eutaxia Obovata or as most of us might know it ‘Eggs and Bacon’ Is botanicals your vibe?

19.01.2022 It’s been so lovely welcoming so many new followers over the last month or so that I thought it was well overdue for me to introduce myself. Hi , I’m Sara ( or Chooky ...don’t ask , it’s been my nickname since I was 13 and it just stuck ) and I’m the maker behind Moore and Ord Designs, a one stop shop of contemporary Polymer clay earrings. Moore and Ord was born out of a love of all things crafty and a conversation with my brother (who is also very creative). The name ...Moore and Ord Designs culminates from the mighty Ord river that runs through the centre of my little home town Kununurra, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and the beautiful Moore River, the life of the sleepy seaside town Guilderton, just north of Perth, where my brother and his partner spend their weekends to get away from the rat race of the city. I've always dabbled in crafts, I've tried my hand at most things! I'm first and foremost a wife and Mum to two beautiful girls and a primary teacher by day. Late in 2019 I rediscovered polymer clay, I needed to create again for mindfulness and me time, something that is rare amongst the demands of 'adulting'. The rest is history really. If you ever get the chance, these rivers and their towns are worth a visit.The Kimberley with its ancient landscape often called 'God's Country' and the laid back coastal lifestyle of Guilderton perfect for a weekender! 18.01.2022 Just love a bit of pink and red together. These hoops were a custom make but didn’t quite hit the customers brief. Lucky for you guys these are now available for sale, they are $20 a pair. Let me know if you’d like to snap them up, send me a DM or message below

15.01.2022 I’ve always been a night owl, never a morning person. Although, the mornings here in the Kimberley are just divine this time of year. These were finished at 12.30am this morning so I had them ready for our local market goers. It never ceases to amaze me the amazing support of this venture, the people who stop by and tell me about the beautiful comments they get when wearing #mooreandorddesigns out and about, the locals who purchase every week .....#earringaddiction and the ...visitors to our little town who buy them as gifts to take home for friends and loved ones. Last week we were approached by three new amazing stockists who are now part of the Moore and Ord family. All of which we will be announcing soon! Whilst we love to do your custom orders, unfortunately we have to put all customs on hold while we work through our wholesale orders for these stockists. We will let you know when we can open up our custom orders again. It shouldn’t be too long. These newbies will be heading to a couple of our stockists soon, you just never know where our designs will pop up next. Again, Thank-you for being here! I love making earrings for you all
