20.01.2022 Playtime is a group run by our church for children aged 0-5 and their carers. We've been meeting at a local park due to covid restrictions. It would be lovely to see you and your little ones today, or any Friday for the next few weeks. Stay tuned for plans for 2021!

19.01.2022 We'd love to see you at church on Sundays. You can watch the livestream of our service at 10am, or you can be present at any of our 3 church gatherings on Sunday Hammondville 9am, Moorebank 10am and 6pm. Both Hammondville at 9am and Moorebank at 10am also have a kids church for kids aged 3-year 8.... We are keeping a register of all guests as part of our Covid safe plan - so please register at our website mhachurch.com You'll find we've planned entry and exit, plus our seating arrangements to keep inline with physical distancing recommendations. There is hand sanitiser available through our buildings, and a team of cleaners is ready to go after each service. Also at the moment we are recommending people wear a mask in church. Why are we going to so much effort to meet? We're committed to hearing the word of God, and we're committed to building a community of believers who are joyfully trusting following and sharing Jesus. This can happen online, and it's great that we can do that, but it's awesome to be together - God made us physical beings. So we'll keep livestreaming to love those for whom meeting in person isn't possible, but we'll also make every effort to meet safely for those who can. Hope to 'see' you soon.

18.01.2022 This Sunday at MHAC we are looking at 1 Corinthians 13. You can read it below, and then you might like to join us to hear all about real love. Register at mhachurch.com or join the livestream at 10am.... "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

17.01.2022 Christians love meeting together to connect! With God, and each other. During this Covid time Moorebank Hammondville Anglican church continued to 'meet' online on Sundays, and many of our groups met via online platforms. Much of this is still happening, even though some groups and Sunday church are now meeting in person.* Yet Christians also spend a lot of time investing in their relationship with God and each other every day, not just on Sundays or special occasions. We read... the Bible, we pray and we talk about Jesus. This month our church has committed to spending time growing our prayer lives by setting aside time to read a devotional book. Next month we're encouraging families in Bible reading with a special devotions box with readings and activities. Would you like to hear more about how to grow in a relationship with God? Would you like to connect with God and others? Get in touch - message us! * All groups follow government Covid recommendations, and we are a registered Covid safe place of worship
