If you’re like our BOSS Dee, your overactive mind means you find it hard to just sit and chill. Adding caffeine to the mix is a big no no. ... Not only is it hard for our lash artists but it’s extremely unsafe for you. We have had a few hiccups recently, but we managed to help with a set of noise cancelling headphones and some relaxation music to the rescue. So, all was not lost, they still got a beautiful set of lash extensions. But the key takeaway? Avoid coffee and energy drinks if you know they cause you anxiety. We want you to arrive at our salon with a clear mind, ready to truly relax and enjoy every second.

I (Dee) am a huge advocate for Mental Health Awareness as I suffer severely from a mental illness, Bipolar.... The one way I can best describe Bipolar is I wake every day not knowing if I am going to feel like Tigger or Eeyore when making daily decisions. It’s easy to go about life and be seen as the successful business owner, the super mum or dad, the one who looks like they have their sh*t together, but behind that there could well be a difficult, hard, negative, lonely side of their world too. Mental illness is real, and although you cannot see it, you never know how someone is truly feeling. Talking openly about it sure is scary as hell, but the more we share our experiences and get real, the more we can stamp out the stigma and make way for more people to feel comfortable to seek help and get the support they deserve. Look after your mental health, always .
