24.01.2022 Please can you confirm your Operoo permission slip no later than 8pm if your Youth Member will be attending the Cub PL/APL & Scout section camp at Wyper Park on 14-16 May 2021. I need to finalise numbers so the Bundy District Groups can finish arranging the camp. Please remember the next few weeks will be only Scouting @ Home as per the email I sent out last week and we look forward to seeing you at the Den 2nd June 2021.... thanks, Wombat

21.01.2022 What’s better than a sausage sizzle? TWO sausage sizzles in one day!! Saturday we will be at our usual fortnightly IGA Moore Park Beach sizzle between 7am - 10am. Then sizzling again at Rhee Tae Kwon Do Bundaberg from 9.30am to 12pm. Same great price $2. See you there!

20.01.2022 Don’t forget we won’t be at the Den tomorrow night! Parents please come down to the BBQ at 7pm so we can have a catch up, Moore Park SLS will be there and grab a snag or two! We also still need helpers for Saturday’s car wash fundraiser, ticket sellers, car washers etc Even if you can only help for 1/2hr that would be great. Tell Gecko when you can help the Scouts. Remember to book a table and enjoy a few hours peace when the Scouts play out the back then watch the movie.

20.01.2022 A massive BRAVO for Katy and Josh from Moore Park Beach Surf Lifesavers for giving the Scouts some surf safety lessons in time for Little Nippers and the summer season! Living next to the beach it's so important to learn how to be safe near water We'll be back again on Wednesday 7th October for term 4, but we'll see you on Saturday at 2pm for our car wash extravaganza! 15.01.2022 FAO Cub PL’s, Cub APL’s and Scout section parents/carers who are on the TWO night unit management camp starting this Friday. Wombat will be at Wyper Park from 5.30pm so you can drop them off before 7pm if this helps you. They will all be in our new tents not swags for this camp. Please bring a bed roll if you have one. I have a few spare if you haven’t. Kmart or Bigw $10 each camp may or chunky yoga mat.

11.01.2022 You’re invited to the Rhee Taekwondo Bundaberg. GREAT OPEN DAY 2021 This coming Saturday the 16th of January they’re hosting their annual come and try event from 930am to 12pm. You’re welcome to drop on by and say hello and grab a sausage from the Moore Park Beach Scout group sausage sizzle. There will be two workshops held on the day for students to participate in if they want. We encourage them to make it extra fun by inviting a friend to jump in as well. Due to Covid rest...rictions however they do require anyone not already a member to book in if they want to have a go at learning some stuff with them. The two workshops are: 10am for the 3-5year olds and 11am for the school aged children If you know someone who just wants to come and say hi and grab some information they can pop in at anytime We look forward to seeing you there! 06.01.2022 Some of our Scouts will be off on survival camp this weekend in chilly Childers. They have to carry all their gear, no esky or fridge and just cook on a fire with a billy. 2 of our intrepid scouts have been practicing cooking on the fire tonight, using vaseline and cotton balls to light the fires. They even found time to make some char cloth.
