One standard horse crush, wash bay, saddle stand, and ultrasound table!!! All built by Matt and his amazing, friendly team! We are so excited to put these new items to good use

19.01.2022 Our resident brumby gelding from KNP, Red, back in work at last!

14.01.2022 Our lovely client Alex; aged 11, getting to know Phoenix and the basics of horsemanship. This pair managed a join up within just 15 minutes. Phoenix was following Alex around the round pen at liberty. No ropes or halter. We then moved on to some basic groundwork; haltering, leading, backing, and lunging. Afterwards, a quick sit on Phoenix before a good grooming!

07.01.2022 We are looking to find winston a lovely long term lease home. Recently retired from the track again, he is wasting away in the paddock. Winston is approx 15.2hh..., 8yo gelding. He has been competed successfully under saddle however not ridden for 18 months. Winston deserves to be someone’s number one. Jon is incredibly fussy with where he goes, so please don’t be offended if I say no. Winston requires an experienced and kind rider. He is not nasty, but loves to have a job to do. He is to come home if he doesn’t work out, however the opportunity to purchase down the track to the right forever home is available. I feel like Winston would love being a trail riding or endurance horse. If interested please send me an inbox

07.01.2022 Groundwork and riding lesson with the lovely Elisha today. Going over the basic exercises which set the foundation for a successful partnership. Some amazing progress already. I can’t wait to see how these new skills translate to Elisha’s partnership with her own mare!

06.01.2022 The biggest mistake people make with hot, busy-minded horses is never teaching them how to relax and use the thinking side of their brains. It’s not possible fo...r a horse to relax when he’s nervous, anxious and using the reactive side of his brain. What happens, though, is the horse will power walk down the trail or jig and instead of the rider moving the horse’s feet to get him to use the thinking side of his brain, they ignore his behavior or try to slow him down with two reins. Then, at the end of the trail, they get off him and unsaddle him and put him away.
