Phill Cook - Moore River Tours I recently ...had a surprise 40th in Guilderton which was an amazing long weekend. The wife had planned a huge weekend with plenty of activities, with the main attraction being a day on the river with Phill Cook. He came out of off-season a month early for this weekend, and ferried two boat loads of friends and family up the river to the sand dunes where he built a long water slide into the river, offered out sand boards so we could surf down the dunes, and then topped it off with an awesome bbq on the boat where he and my wife made smash burgers for everyone! An absolutely awesome day and Phill was amazing. And as a birthday present, Phill’s partner made us an awesome gluten free choc coffee cake - thank you it was delicious!! Thank you Phil for making it a 40th celebration I’ll never forget! See more

09.10.2021 We took advantage of the latest COVID restrictions to do a deep clean at the cottage. Carpets, grout, new curtains, windows, window tracks, my goodness, such hard work. The cottage has been pretty much fully booked since the internal borders opened in 2020 so this was a perfect opportunity. The disappointed guests have transferred to May. 04.10.2021 BLOW FISH CAN BE DEADLY TO DOGS It is lovely to see so many people visiting Guilderton at this time of year. A note to the people who are fishing on the beaches... and catching a lot of Blow fish. Can you please put these in a bag and then in the bin. I as a dog owner am disturbed about the number of dead blow fish on the beach. They can be deadly to dogs, they don’t even have to eat them having them in there mouths is enough to paralyze the dog. I picked up 30 the other morning on the Guilderon dog friendly part of the beach. THANK YOU Maggie Schmiedte
