13.01.2022 What a weekend! What a team! 200 matches played in 2 days by these legends at the Academy Challenge Cup held in Sawtell over the weekend. So proud of all of these kids for their individual efforts but more importantly their team spirit, comradeship & encouragement towards each other as a team over the entire weekend. These guys were up against 5 other Academies which included high level professional players such as @brentonchambers , elite juniors & even very experienced coaches from our NSW region & done more then held their own with finishing in second place over all! An unreal event, with heaps of tennis & loads of fun!! Big thanks to Papa Snags @eli.baylis for hosting!

10.01.2022 Well done to everyone who competed in today’s Tweed Heads JDS. To those who played their first ever event, all the way through to those who won their divisions. Well done to you all! Some Winners, Runners Up & Semi Finalists from today were ; Div. 2 Semi Finals - Norm Fraser Div. 2 Semi Finals - Ben Wilson... Div. 3 WINNER - Sasha Cripps Div. 4 WINNER - Ollie Jeffrey A big congratulations to Lachlan Johnson who today won the 14/u Boys Singles & Doubles titles @ the QLD Clay Court Championships. Lachy went into the event being no.4 seed & on his way to the title defeated the no.2 & no.1 seeds without dropping a set. QLD Clay Court Singles & Doubles Champion, Well done mate. A couple of other great MTA results were Lincoln Taylor who progressed through to the 16u Boys Singles Consolation Final where he finished as the runner up & Jake Mckiernan who got through to the 12/u Boys Singles Semi Finals. Another great MTA result which is ongoing, is our Division 1 Saturday Comp Team which consists of Cooper Levy, Ollie Bancroft, Mia Bantoft, Yasmin Scott & Gopal Reissenberger. These legends are through to the FINAL which is being played this weekend at Tweed Heads.. Awesome effort guys & best of luck for this Saturday!! Well done everybody.
