This gorgeous gal came to us shy and unsure but has blossomed into the smoochiest little girl that even rolls over for a belly rub she is looking for an indoor/cat run home where she can sun herself in a window and get all the attention in the world. She is currently being fostered in Adelaide where she is socialised with other cats and dogs. For more info send us a PM and her carers will be in touch

22.01.2022 For those following Squirts story here's a little snippet of our night routine, the morning routine is in the comments. Currently she receives an array of antibiotics, anti inflammatorys and eye lubricants to prevent infections and ulcers! This occurs morning and night and Squirt is an absolute champ with them all She needs a lip to lid operation, I won't post photos it's not for the faint of heart but google can help if your interested. It's where a skin graft is taken fro...m her lower jaw and transferred to her upper eye lid to help rebuild what never formed correctly. They will also peel back the inner eye lids which have been stuck across her eyes obstructing her vision. All going to plan she will see again after a lengthy recovery period. We are currently waiting on her to reach a minimum of 2kg ideally 2.5kg and are currently sitting at 1.7kg. This little girl is a fighter so let's help her fight to see and continue being her spunky little self See more

22.01.2022 Hey everyone I'm Brownie, although for some silly reason I don't know that's my name I like plain old Brown Dog instead! I guess you'd all like to know a little about my life and what a life its been!! I'm 6 years old, but whose counting annnddd I spent all 6 years living on a houseboat with my Mumma cruising up and down the River Murray, not many dogs can say that's how they lived!! because I lived on a houseboat I'm toilet trained, what a catch I am!, I haven't been around ...many other dogs and can be timid to start but warm up once I get to know them. I'm good with cats they don't faze me at all, I walk nicely on a lead but my true strength lies off lead, I just like to plod along with you and enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately my Mumma passed away so I'm pretty sad at the moment just waiting for someone to come and give me the same sort of love she gave me. I would really like the kind of home where I am with someone most of the time, maybe your a tradie and can take me to work or a truckie or really anyone that can give back the love that I will give to you. 19.01.2022 Hi everyone it's Squirt here, I just wanted to thank you all for your kind donations and words of support. Foster mummy and Daddy told me today that we have raised a whole $600 of $1000 for my operation which I think is just purrrfect! They said we still have about half of our raffle tickets left to sell to make up the remainder and for my after care in case anything goes wrong, claws crossed it doesn't though I hope though that with all your support we will have enough left over to get my friends back at the shelter a special treat! In 19 days I can go back to the vet for a review after I finish the most yucky of antibiotics. I really hope they say I'm growing well and can have my op soon Ciao for now, I'm off to get into mischief with my foster sisters, Squirt

She sure is living her best life enjoying the comfy seats in the house, running through the crops and enjoying some attention from her owners grandkids. What a life she is living!! 18.01.2022 Mumma cat appreciation post These mummas have spent the last few weeks birthing, feeding and raising the sweet little kittens that have nearly all found their homes. Let's give these mums the appreciation they deserve and homes they crave! Pic 1= Sammy, unknown age, appears young maybe 1-3 yrs Pic 2 = Patches, unknown age appears young maybe 1-2 yrs Pic 3 = Elizabeth, approx 3 yrs... Pic 4= Nala, approx 6 months All 4 of these gorgeous ladies are smoochers that enjoy a good chin scratch or a pat. Although he cant live with another dog he has shown that with repeated meets and positive training he can get along with other dogs that he becomes familiar with. 11.01.2022 This little guy is Piney. He's 4 months old and will be getting desexed at our Adelaide vets on the 8/12/2020. he's a very playful little kitten and boy does he take some good photos!! Piney wont suit a home where there are any birds in cages, you know, they would be fun to harass and all and is still a little scared around dogs. He will come vaccinated and MC for $155. 08.01.2022 Donation wish list: 10/05/21 With a large number of cats and kittens in care, the current feline parvo pandemic and an increasing amount of dogs we are again doing a call out for the following items in these areas. We are so grateful for any and all donations, it takes the pressure off of our volunteers and allows them to focus on the important task of raising kittens and caring for the other cats and dogs we have. 08.01.2022 Name: Billy Gender: Male Age:1 year old Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier x blue heeler... Re-introducing the big man Billy boy! I am a big Boof-head staffy (literally everyone says what a big head I have!) who just wants some love and attention. Don't let my good looks fool you though I can get into some serious mischief, I am a CHEWER. I would love a home with lots of toys (strong kongs filled with food etc) and people who will take the time to give me some training, I am not a put me in the backyard and forget about me type of dog! I need a home with no other animals and please don't take me to a dog park!! I would benefit from muzzle training so that other dog owners know to give me space and this will keep me and other doggies safe. Although I behave well around children and love them so so much, I keep getting told that I am just too big and strong for them. I really am a good boy, I can sit and I even behave in the bath tub.
