10.01.2022 Due to the increased number of attendees for the Jumuah Salah, Moorooka Mosque has decided to hold two Jumuah Salahs instead of one. Starting this Friday, 4th of September. The first Khutbah will begin at 12:30pm and salah will be prayed at 12:50pm. The second Khutbah will begin at 1:10pm and salah will be prayed at 1:30pm in sha allah. Jazakuallahu Khair

09.01.2022 Assalam alikum everyone, Ramadan Crescent has been sighted and tomorrow Tuesday, the 13th of April 2021, is the first day of Ramadan. First we were to observe the moon and try to sight the Crescent here in Queensland. We could not see it. Horizon was very cloudy.... Secondly, we checked with our Muslims in the other Australian states. No one could spot the Crescent. Finally we, we just received the news from our brothers in Indonesia. They have successfully sighted the crescent and tomorrow Tuesday, the 13th of April 2021, is the first day of Ramadan.
