15.01.2022 This afternoon I welcome the decision by Cedar Woods to abandon its attempt to overturn planning controls through the federal government which means the three r...eserves in Williams Landing will remain protected conservation land. This was part of an original deal struck more than a decade ago with former Prime Minister Turnbull when he was Environment Minister. I remain strongly opposed to the urban development of these conservation sites and I commend Cedar Woods for doing the right thing. A second Gilligan term at Wyndham City will see a further focus on conservation sites across Wyndham as part of building a liveable city - not just a big city.

14.01.2022 Do you remember that We had a contractor who used to maintain the nature strips at a very cost-effective rate @ 6.00 per lot with edging. Quantum indicated that the committee was looking to initiate a contractor to carry out maintenance of the nature strips. Can you please ask the committee ([email protected]) or Quantum ([email protected]) ** Why has committee stopped the service provided by previous contractor? ** How much are we paying n...ow per lot to the new contractor? ** Why is the new contractor not doing the edging?

07.01.2022 Do you know that Moorookyle OC is following the July-June financial year and we already saved money for the last financial year due to the closure of the clubhouse. Why is committee/quantum not tacking initiative to refund money to each lot as a lump sum credit and working to reduce the Levy for July 20- June 21. We are under the impression that the levy has to be reduced for that period (20/21) as Quantum hasn’t done any noticeable activities due to COVID -19 lockdown. For ...your information, our neighbour estate (Club Heartland) already waived their last quarterly Levy to provide some financial relief to their lot owners. Quantum was their managing agent and ran the recent AGM, though the committee (Heartland) changed quantum and appointed a new management. They are lucky as they have new management in place and the Committee is working for the lot owner’s interest. We argue that Quantum and the committee should refund lamp sum credit to each lot and reduce the levy for 20/21.

06.01.2022 Dear lot Owners of Moorookyle Estate, With huge dissatisfaction, we have to raise some concerns about the current committee’s activities. Since the last AGM, the new committee started their role and their activities appear doubtful/ lacking in transparency / misguiding the lot owners/misusing the position/grouping and many more An email has sent to Quantum to investigate a potential breach of OC act as one committee member may not comply with OC act as he may not be acting ...with honesty and making improper use of his position for his advantage. This is of severe concern and needs proper investigation. Who knows why the committee have selected Quantum and we are paying $36000.00 more this year with fewer services compared to what we paid the previous manager (ACE)? Hope there will be no personal benefit reaped by the committee for the selection of Quantum. For your information, we are paying the levy including nature strips mowing expenses and we had a specific budget for that. Since the Clubhouse has been closed since March 2020, lot owners are not using the facilities and it is estimated that the centre has incurred $60000.00 less expenditures up till now. We may end up reducing the expenditure by $100000.00. Under this circumstance, isn’t it fair to demand some money be returned back to the lot owners? See more
