24.01.2022 Hi All, due to a late weather update indicating severe heat from 11am this morning(Saturday), we have had to cancel today's competition. Golf will be "Social Only" and all players will need to be off the golf course and practice facilities by 11am. Last Range Balls will be sold at 10.30am. We are organising a competition to be run tomorrow (Sunday) all day with bookings online as normal. Thanks for your understanding and please keep drinking plenty of water and be sun smart. 24.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests, Visitors & Friends Unfortunately our Golf & Bowls Club will remain Closed until further notice. Closure will continue over the weekend and into next week. Hopefully we can provide an opening day after we receive the green light from the Department of Health.... We would like to thank Phil Foyster from S&F Cleaning for applying the Deep Clean program and has been liaising with the Dept of Health ensuring our Club is following all requirements necessary. We can report some good news that current returned tests for our Staff and the Pro Shop Staff have been NEGATIVE so far whilst we await further results. 23.01.2022 After such a challenging year, it was really disappointing to find this damage that was caused to our 12th green today. Please help us identify the culprit, if you saw a motorbike on course between 3pm and 4.30pm TODAY, please contact the Club on 5825 4135. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

19.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests and Visitors: We are please to announce that as of Wednesday 26th May 2021 the Golf Course Local Rules will be adjusted as follows: * Flag removal permitted ... * Foam will be removed from the hole cups * Bunkers rakes are back in play this also means the preferred lie from Bunkers will cease. Please note the following rules still apply: * Personally owned sand buckets can only be used * Ball Washers are not to be used * Players mark and submit their own score cards Mooroopna Golf Club would like to remind all players of the following * Wash and hygiene your hands frequently * Refrain from touching your face etc with your hands * Maintain Social Distancing of 1.5m where possible Further rule changes will take place as the restrictions are lifted and we are notified by Golf Australia Reminder: For contact tracing purposes, it is a requirement for all people to sign in via the QR code or manually. These are located at the entries of the Club House and Pro Shop.*

17.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests and Friends We are pleased to announce that the Health Department has provided the green light to re-open for Golf and access to the Club House at Mooroopna Golf Club. The Eagles & Birdies Bistro will re-open next week. During our period of closure, we have undergone a deep clean and undertaken all the necessary steps prior to reopening. The Health Department inspection report was very good and highlighted our positive attitude towards complying with COV...ID-19 protocols. It is fantastic that those who were at our Club on the two Sundays helped to keep our community safe by adhering to rules and restrictions, playing their part in deflecting a possible threat of spread of the virus. Our Club has shown great resilience during some of the most challenging times and we have proven as a Club that our COVIDSafe plan is working and If we all do the right thing; we can remain safe. The Pro Shop will stay closed until Monday, October 26, this is due to Joann (Club Pro Darren’s wife) requiring quarantine for 14 days with a third test being conducted later this week, the Pro Shop will reopen once all Pro Shop staff have been cleared. Darren has requested the following of members - If you have clubs stored, please collect these when possible from the Club House and take home each time. If you have products on order or to collect, please be patient until next week. Until the Pro Shop reopens, golf operations will be conducted out of the Club House. This will be from the Match Room and the Club House Bar. It appears the Greater Shepparton region will not enjoy the same reduced restrictions as the rest of the regional areas in the state so please follow our rules and guidelines when at the Club House. We ask all attending Mooroopna Golf Club to please stay vigilant, wear your face mark, practice good hand hygiene, social distance, look out for each other and if you are unwell, even if you only have minor symptoms, please stay at home. Please spare a thought for those who have been directly affected by the Golf Clubs recent situation as some are still at home in quarantine and will be unable to return to our Club until next week. The Golf Club throughout 2020 has endured many challenges. More than ever our Club needs your support and understanding as we reopen and try to return to some normality. 08.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests and Visitors: Mooroopna Golf Club from 4th June has re-opened with the following restrictions from DHHS on how we operate being enforced. We ask everyone to abide be these rules and hopefully this will be relaxed sooner than later. There is a 50-person at one time limit. This limit is inclusive of all people at our Club both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor gathering limit is 10 people, please do not congregate around the Pro Shop or Club House. We... must check your residential address to ensure you are from regional Victoria. Those who live in the Metro areas will be refused service and kindly asked to leave. Competitions cannot be conducted, social play only. Masks must be worn inside, unless eating or drinking, or another lawful exception applies. Please let us know first if this applies to you. Changerooms, locker rooms and showers are closed. Access to toilets is permitted. QR Code check in upon entry is mandatory for everyone - no exceptions. With the above rules in play The Mooroopna Golf Club have the following Operations to allow everyone to enjoy our facilities under these restrictions. THE CLUBHOUSE The Club House and Bistro are closed for indoors services during the day and will open from 5.00pm each day. The Club House will open for Bistro dining and indoor seating from 5.00pm with bookings compulsory no turn ups. THE GOLF COURSE 40 players at anyone time are only allowed on the Golf Course. There will be 9 hole social golf tee times available. This will be reviewed on Monday for next week’s golf. All players will need to book no turn ups. Members can book online as normal and visitors can call the Pro Shop for bookings. Players are asked to arrive 5 minutes before your tee time and leave immediately after your game. A 9 hole playing time limit is applied of 2hours 15 minutes maximum. Players are asked to keep up with the group in front and please do not exceed this time. Maximum number of people per group is 4 and this includes non players/spectators. DRIVING RANGE The Driving Range is open each day from 7.30am to last balls sold at 4.30pm. We cannot have more than 8 people on the Range at anyone time so bookings is compulsory no turn ups. 1 x person per bay with no spectators. We appreciate your understanding during these times and hope everyone is doing well.

04.01.2022 It looks like we are set for a scorcher later this week! Due to the extreme heat forecast for this Friday and Saturday, the Club's Heat Policy will come into effect for the safety of patrons and staff. Please be advised that the following closure times will apply - Friday and Saturday - The course will close at 1.00pm with last competition tee off at 9.08am.... The Driving Range will also close at 1.00pm on Friday and Saturday with last balls at 12.30pm. The course and Driving Range will re-open during the usual hours on Sunday.
