24.01.2022 WEVE BEEN BUSY AT PLAYGROUP With the sun beginning to shine again, weve been busy playing in the nature playground, working on our gross motor skills, exploring the colour yoont (yellow) and working hard on our cooperation and sharing skills.

20.01.2022 TEDDY BEARS PICNIC As you can see the weather is wet and wild! Not so ideal for our Teddy Bears Picnic. We are still hopeful the weather will clear tomorrow, so; Plan A: Follow the original plan of meeting at Garvey Park with our teddies and a BBQ lunch at 11:30am.... Plan B: Meet at Playgroup with our teddies and have an indoors picnic and BBQ at 11:30am. We will make the call tomorrow morning, so please watch this space. Either way, we have lots of fun in store!

10.01.2022 To all our Playgroup Families, It is unknown when Playgroup will be returning due to the conditions related to Covid19. However we are hoping to start playgroup next week as a Pop-Up Playgroup and not on the School premises. The Aboriginal Playgroup will be held on Thursday and the Multicultural on Friday. A venue has not been decided yet but you can call my mobile to show your interest and to keep updated. 06.01.2022 Happy Halloween Tomorrow we'll be exploring Halloween with some fun and spooky activities. Please feel free to dress up in your favourite costume, we will also have our costume box available. We can't wait to see you all for a fun filled day.
06.01.2022 Thursday Moort Waabiny Playgroup at Whiteman Park saw the sun shining this week and the kids were soaking it all up. We read books, did chalk drawings, made bubbles, had a scavenger hunt and had a picnic. Thank you to everyone who attended. We are back at school as of next week - Monday 8 June 2020 but future "offsite events" have been planned.
05.01.2022 Moort Waabiny Aboriginal Playgroup will NOT be open on Monday 20 July 2020 due to unforeseen circumstances. Apologies to all our families. We will be back as soon as possible.

01.01.2022 This term we have been learning our colours, looking at a different colour each week. This week to finish the term we looked at rainbows and the colours that make a rainbow. We had rainbow rice sensory play, rainbow craft and we used the bottoms of bok Choy to stamp paint.

01.01.2022 WANJU (WELCOME) A well overdue welcome to Chantelle, Les and their beautiful boy Isaia. We would like to officially welcome you to the Moort Waabiny Playgroup family. During Isaias first visit, we were all lucky enough to listen to Les play the didge. Isaia was observant and calm while he listened to Dad share culture through music.
