10.01.2022 I can remember taking all of these photographs. The Green and White Hummingbird resting in Peru with the stuck flower on its beak (a rare sight to see one stationary). The South Island Robin who followed me hiking for a kilometre in New Zealand. The heat of the day when I came across the bathing Emu in the Grampians in Victoria. The Magnificient Frigate performing a mating ritual. And one of my favourites: watching the White-Bellied Sea Eagle catch its meal. #birdnerd

04.01.2022 I have been getting ready for Dane & Mim's wedding this week. While playing around with my equipment I hear, then finally see in between the branches of the Ponderosa Pines, this Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoo (feathers very ruffled!). This is not edited, the monochrome is real, it is just 'backlit'.

04.01.2022 Wishing everyone the very best at this strained time, especially those on the front-lines of every-day support and healthcare, and to those who are alone.

03.01.2022 Hi! The website has been updated with some recent images. I'm in deep with my PhD but taking time occasionally to go "shutter bugging" http://www.mophotography.com.au/landscape-gallery
