06.01.2022 May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month, and in the lead up to it, we want to share about a very special MOPS Family whom we would like to support. One morning in February, Gloria found her 4 year old son, Jacob, unresponsive. Scans revealed that he had a blood clot on his left side of the brain and while operating to remove this, doctors found a tumour which was confirmed to be a very aggressive brain cancer. Jacob is now undergoing chemotherapy and receiving therapy to regai...n his speech and mobility. MOPS@Monash are selling SMALL IDEAS Memberships in an effort to raise some funds for Gloria and her family as they rally around to care for Jacob while managing life with two other children and reduced work hours.
