25.01.2022 Brenden Kennedy SC14, The stand alone Nissan 300ZX in the field has certainly had a consistent run of late, and with the knowledge and experience in his crew, dad Len the 3 times QLD 1 & 1 time AUST 1, expect to see the red Nissan at the pointy end of the field.

25.01.2022 Shane McDonald QLD 1, Well we leave the best to last which is the Current QLD 1 & 2009 QLD 1, Toowoombas Shane McDonald. To win one state title in this great division is a battle but to win 2 is no fluke, and ShaneyMac will be hoping to add a 3rd to his list of achievements. He will battle to retain the QLD1 status against 47 other competitors wanting the same glory. As this ends our drivers profile, I hope you have enjoyed the stars and their cars. This stella field are getting ready to rumble, this Queens Birthday weekend 7th/8th June. Make sure you get your backside trackside this weekend as all roads lead to Moranbah.

19.01.2022 Jeff Smith SC23, Soon to be 1st time Dad, Smithy had a heat win and a solid showing at Mackay 3 weeks ago, before minor issues took him out of the event. With backing from Real Flex Fiberglass/ECO Blast QLD, he will be hoping for a 2nd bundle of joy come QLD Title weekend.

10.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION It is nearing the end of the 2013/14 speedway season. ALL registered cars will become UNREGISTERED as at 30th June - car owners need to b...e arranging with your Club Scrutineer people to get your cars daylight inspected so you can register you car in preparation for the 2014/15 season. This applies to Practice Days as well as Race Days. Your car must be registered to be able to take part in a Practice Day - your Speedway Australia personal accident insurance will not cover you if you need to make a claim whilst in a car that is unregistered to its normal division. Time also to check to see when your Speedway Australia insurance and your Infringement Card expire. Do you need a medical this year? Dont be caught out and miss out on a Practice Day or race meeting. Also your Club Memberships are due as of 1st July. To maintain your Speedway Australia insurance cover you must be a current financial member of an affiliated club. He is sure to be one of the pace setters aboard his Black Raging Bull Industries/Glenwaren Charolais/Fusion Graphix VS Commodore with his list of achievements, 1994 & 1995 QLD 1 in Street Sedans, 2003 AUST 2 in Litre Sprintcars, 2004 QLD 1 in Litre Sprintcars, current AUST 5 in Modified Productions, and the winner of the 2013 Coal Country Cup at this venue last year.

07.01.2022 Max Clarke L15, the 2nd NSW driver to make the long journey, needs no introduction at all. The 2011 AUST 1 is famously took the national crown by winning the C Main, running 3rd in the B Main, starting at the back of the bus in the A Main and driving through the field to take the AUST 1. If he can take that form into the QLD Title in his Boneyard/Superior Painting VE Commodore, he will be one to keep an eye out for.

Production Sedan Challenge - current Australian/Victorian/Queensland Champ - Tim Atkin - heads the nominations list - this is certainly going to be one huge weekend of speedway at Moranbah. Practice Friday night 7pm to 9pm preceeded by a monster BBQ - the food line up is provided by the local mining camps so sure to be awesome. Scrutineering from 10am on Saturday and racing begins in ernest at 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday nights. See more

02.01.2022 ATTENDING A PRACTICE? Do you know your responsibilities? Must haves: Currently Registered Car to the division it complies with A current Speedway Australia lic...ence A current SSA Infringement Card What to Expect: Your car must be inspected by a SSA Scrutineer and your Log Book must have an entry made in it for the Practice - just the same as a race night. There will be a SSA Steward in charge of the on/off track activities. SSA Class Technical Manual - Page 3 Section 4 Registration - The Driver is responsible for having the log book further endorsed before participation in each official practice session or race meeting. The log book must be endorsed. A log book without endorsement by the Machine Examiner/Scrutineer is equivalent to a no-race ticket. Comply with the above and are unfortunate enough to have a problem you are fully covered.
