24.01.2022 Ok Guys, thanks to all that have had a say on some projects to complete. The first one will be pallet kitchens for the community day care centres (see pic). We will be meeting on Wednesday 14th Oct and 21st from 4-7pm at the Blue shed at the High School to start work. All that I ask is that if you have any power tools i.e. drop saws, sanders or drills that you could bring along to assist, as we are still in the fundraising stage to purchase tools it would be a great help. If you need any more info please don't hesitate to contact us here at the Mens Shed.

23.01.2022 Good afternoon all Thankyou for attending last weeks mens shed launch at the blue shed. This is where we will be working out of until we secure our own premises. As this shed will be use by some of the high school kids on a Thursday and Friday, I ask you all too come up with some days and times to start the ball rolling on when you would like to start the creation process. To add to this if you could come up with some ideas on projects that we can work on i.e. camp fire bbq's..., squatter chairs or even a wood working table. The ideas could be endless. We will be having a meeting soon to discuss these ideas plus some ideas to raise some funds for the shed. To contact the Mens Shed please use the details below, email [email protected] phone 0414435700 or Facebook at Moranbah Mens Shed. Thanks for you time Moranbah Mens Shed

15.01.2022 The Moranbah Mens Shed would like to thank the Moranbah Workers Club, Moranbah Golf Club and the people behind the John Allan Golf Day 2017. It was a great day with a very happy mob of girls n and guys that enjoyed a round of golf and a few games along the way. Thanks to Phillipa, Jane and Ashley from the Workers, without them and the sponsors this day wouldn't go ahead.

06.01.2022 As we come to the end of Mental Heath Awareness Week 2015. Everyone will go through some hard times at some point. Life isn't easy. Just something to think about. Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? Did you know the ones who take care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most? Did you know the three hardest things to say are ...I love you, I'm sorry, and help me? Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile to see how much pain they may be in. To all my friends who are going through some issues right now--let's start an intentional avalanche. We all need positive intentions right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. May I ask my friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just needs to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my friends just for moral support. I know some will!!! I did it for a friend and you can too. You have to copy and paste this one, NO SHARING... I will leave it in the comments so it's easier to copy/paste. Thank you. See more

Always kindly supported by Mitre 10 Moranbah, Isaac Regional Council, M.D.S.S. and Sonic Health.
