16.01.2022 HELPING HANDS Students from Geraldton Christian College recently volunteered their time to help the WA College of Agriculture Morawa in its recovery from Trop...ical Cyclone Seroja. About 12 students, from Years 7 to 10, put up their hands for the overnight trip, travelling after school as a group on Friday night and spending Saturday helping with the clean-up. The students gathered loose hay from broken bales and cleared branches and trees from a paddock. They also got a tour of the school and participated in games with the Morawa students. Here's some pictures from Hayden Scally, Geraldton Christian College.

05.01.2022 Equine trainer, Ms. Crystal Greenwood worked patiently with both horses and riders today. The focus being the students position on the horse, using soft hands (the ability to ride your horse with soft, quiet hands is the first step towards developing an even and elastic contact to the bit and, therefore, to the mouth of the horse) and understanding how to ride their horse "forward into the bridle in balance". This is all part of working towards a Certificate II in Horse Care,... which provides a broad introduction to the diverse pathways in the Equine industry. Public education in Western Australia
