17.01.2022 Due to Western Power maintenance Tuesday 24th November from 7.30am-3.30pm the swimming pool will be closed. Once power has been restored and chemical levels are up to standard the pool could possibly be opened between 4 or 4.30pm to 7pm as I know it’s going to be a hot day.

17.01.2022 Due to the power outage the swimming pool will be closed until power has been restored. With no pumps in action there is no filtration to keep the pool at a sanitary level. See you when the power’s back. Thank goodness for a cool day!!! Regards Sandy

14.01.2022 Meet Candy Hudson, our Regional Recovery Officer for North Western Australiaif you live there she’d love to hear from you! I have lived in regional WA my whol...e life and enjoyed a diverse career in the agricultural sector, including time spent as a professional wool classer in the south of WA, and jillaroo on pastoral stations in the north. For the past 20 years I have been involved in various State government agriculture roles, and this experience has given me an extensive knowledge of the local agriculture industry and the challenges faced by people who live and work in regional WA. As a Regional Recovery Officer I am committed to supporting our farmers and rural communities as they deal with the ongoing impacts of drought, and the lingering effects of COVID 19. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how the National Drought and Flood Agency can assist families and businesses in North WA. 11.01.2022 A big shout out to Milton Milloy who is competing in the Busselton Jetty 3.6 km swim this Sunday 14th February with his son Richard and daughter in law Nicole. Milton has been preparing himself by ocean swimming 50kms in Geraldton at least twice a week and has smashed out 2278 laps to date (avg 3kms each swim) at the Morawa Pool which is an awesome effort considering having had Triple By-Pass surgery in 2019!! Donations for The Regional Men’s Health Initiative can still be made up to 28th of this month by depositing to the account shown on poster. Please get behind this worthy cause to help promote the importance of men’s health, in particular PUMPS and PIPES. Wishing you and your family all the best for Sunday’s swim from the Morawa Swimming Pool. Go team Milloy
