14.01.2022 Comet Neowise It’s comet hunting time! You may have heard about a comet called Neowise. It’s been spectacular in the Northern Hemisphere and it’s now our turn i...n the south. However, it won’t be as spectacular and it will be a quite difficult to see with the naked-eye. The comet is dimming and it’s only visible in the evening just after the sun sets, so it will be very hard to see it in the semi light. Give it a try though. Wait until the sun has set and use this image from SkySafari to help you find the location of the comet. A pair of binoculars will help. The best time Is at about 6.15/6.30pm on the 27th and 28th July. Happy hunting! Thanks Astrotourism WA for this update.
