17.01.2022 Live interview over the phone not knowing who I'm speaking to or quite how it'll unfold is not my favourite experience. Here is a link to my last radio interview of 2018 as AIA Tas Chapter President - it's not the most fluent but I got my message across ... I come in at about 2:06:00

16.01.2022 Morrison & Breytenbach Architects are very pleased to announce that both Directors James Morrison and Yvette Breytenbach have been elevated to Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Architects as of November 2020. We are honoured that our contribution to architecture and to our architectural community in Australia, in particular in Tasmania, has been acknowledged in this way and will attach the letters FRAIA after our names with a sense of achievement and pride. This sustainable home, a series of stone pavilions with interlinking courtyards, is off-grid and energy efficient with beautiful recycled Tasmanian timber interior beams and posts, windows and doors, kitchen and study joinery. Our immense thanks go to our clients who commissioned the design and believed in us in the the early 2000’s. It has been wonderful watching Thalia Haven nurtured and so appreciated over the years

05.01.2022 Many of the directors’ personal posts over the years capture our times of respite at a share-shack we jointly own with a number of others in the beautiful Bay of Fires, Tasmania. There our nights are candle lit and our cooking is generally over an open fire outside under star filled skies to the sound of waves breaking on our beach. Here is a wonderful article about Tasmanian shack culture as it was and how it has changed in recent times - a change we have been witness to.
