22.01.2022 Dear Parents/Guardians, A reminder to all families that from Monday 23 November we begin our whole school rollover for 2021 Headstart program for all students in Years 7-11, transitioning to Years 8-12 2021. It is expected that all students returning to Mordialloc in 2021 attend these very important three Headstart weeks (from 23/11 to 11/12). Students will be able to log into Compass on Friday 20 November to see their new timetables commencing in the next week. It is also important that all students have the required materials for their subjects. If you have not yet purchased the items from the booklist, please arrange to do so at your earliest convenience.

19.01.2022 Congratulations to our Director of Literacy Improvement, Andrew McConchie, for winning the Outstanding Secondary School Teacher award at the Victorian Education Excellence Awards. Furthermore, he won the Lindsay Thompson Award for Excellence in Education. This is the highest accolade an individual can win in State Education. Although Andrew had to accept his awards online from the quiet of a caravan due to COVID-SAFE restrictions, we are looking forward to celebrating with him back at school. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and proud to now have two Lindsay Thompson Excellence in Education award winners at Mordialloc College.

16.01.2022 Mordialloc College are just FANTASTIC! Our Year 12's have been through so much this year, and while we couldn't do Graduations like usual, Principal Michelle and the Senior School Team brought the Graduation Experience to them! Congratulations Class of 2020!!

If your child is in Year 10-12, get them to come along to Mordi Lit Chats on Wednesdays Lunch Time - an informal space to talk about all things literature. 08.01.2022 Our Year 9 MEX students have been busy creating some goodies for their upcoming Market Day. Today's group made coasters, rubber balls and friendship bracelets.

08.01.2022 Wishing our Year 10s the best of luck as they start their end-of-year exams tomorrow. First up is English! How fitting it is that their poetry essay is on the works of Indigenous Australian poet Oodgeroo Noonuccal. A great way to mark NAIDOC Week indeed.

05.01.2022 Year 7-9 Student Led Conferences have gone very well this week. Mentor teachers have enjoyed seeing the progress of their students. The rest of the week will see staff and students enjoy relaxing activities such as movies, table tennis, arts and crafts and so much more.
