25.01.2022 A place to get some practice in against an opponent who rarely misses. For those missing out on a hit the wall behind Don Tatnell is the perfect place to keep up your skills. Good luck and stay safe.

22.01.2022 Hi everyone, we are excited to have Junior Competition running again, however this means that there are no available courts Saturday (today) or Sunday morning. Due to our Covid Safe measures, new Clubhouse restrictions are as outlined in the link below https://www.tennis.com.au//community-tennis-guidelines-upd

22.01.2022 The Club committee wishes all its members the very best in these tough times and to stay safe. As per Stage 4 restrictions and following on from earlier advise, all tennis play is now suspended until further notice and all courts are now shutdown and inaccessible. In addition, the AGM has been deferred. We also deem it fair and reasonable that the issuing of membership invoices for the 2020/2021, be also deferred until further notice. Members will be advised accordingly on u...pdates when further information is to hand. Stay safe, stay well. Regards, Committee Mordialloc TC

20.01.2022 Trusting members are looking forward to getting back to playing tennis, now that some rules have been eased. Many COVID rules are still in place and we would like members to note the following updates. 1. Over the coming days, work will begin on upgrading Crts 5 and 6. Hence these will be out of action. Temporary fencing will be installed. Main entry is still via Crt 3 and as usual the QR code should be scanned and details entered. Crt gate to be locked when leaving. 2. As us...ual no social tennis during junior comp mornings on Sat and Sun. Last morning for comp is the 18th of Dec. Further updates to be sent shortly. Thanks, MTC Committee

19.01.2022 And here we go again... A message from Tennis Victoria Community sport training and competition cannot occur within the Melbourne metropolitan area or the Shire of Mitchell. If you live in this area you cannot participate in community sport elsewhere.... Therefore, * All indoor facilities must close this includes all indoor courts, club houses/rooms * Cafes in club houses can serve take away and home delivery only * Community competition must be cancelled until further notice ******* Outdoor courts may remain open for the following: o Casual play (club members) for members of the same household or for 2 people from different households. o Coaching for members of the same household or one to one coaching ****** * All other programs and activity must cease until further notice * Tennis equipment must not be shared * No one from outside a lockdown area may play at a facility within the lockdown area and vice versa * The ‘Hot Zone’ areas identified 1 July can now revert to the above guidance. Strict adherence to physical distancing and hygiene protocols is essential. In Metropolitan Melbourne, anyone playing tennis must Get In. Play. Get Out. We also recommend that everyone entering a facility is registered for tracking purposes.

19.01.2022 MTC Update. Great news! Work has now commenced on the Club redevelopment. A new exciting tennis experience will be on view through to April 2021 (approx)... Only 4 courts will be playable at a time until April so be aware there is a possibility that all 4 courts may be in use. Note that from Sunday 20 December until end Jan 2021 all 4 courts will be available on a Saturday morning due to a break in comp. Further updates will be posted for your information.
