21.01.2022 We've got a big weekend coming up next week. Don't forget Friday night our under 18's take on the mums in a charity fundraiser, raising money for breast cancer... research and support. This is followed by our senior women playing their last game of the home and away season. They are playing for a spot in the finals so it's a big game against top of the ladder, Endeavour Hills. Then Saturday, we have pur 1999 Premiership Reunion, whilst our boys take on Dingley. Contact our treasurer, Tarsh if you still need your tickets to the event.

20.01.2022 TRAINING UPDATE: Due to the cricket season, we are unable to train at the ground near the boat ramp on Governor Road as originally planned. Training on Wednesday, 6th November 2019 will now be at the Mordialloc Foreshore. The team will meet at Mordialloc Pier at 6pm. For those interested, we hope to see you there.

20.01.2022 Today our women were lucky enough to be invited into Pinnacle Parkdale for a team bonding session. The girls enjoyed themselves in a Reformer Pilates class and finished off the morning, sweating up a storm in a 30 minute HIIT session. Pre-season is now well underway but its never too late to get involved. Contact us via our Facebook page and tag along to a session - we are confident youll love the sport and our team. #gobloods

It is a great opportunity to get out of your comfort zone, meet with like-minded people and get some free exercise in an outdoor group environment. ... 18.01.2022 We are looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday for the first session back for 2020. All you need to bring is your runners, a water bottle and maybe a towel as it is possibly looking to be a wet morning. For any new players that are thinking of coming down, the hardest part is getting out of the car. Our girls are a very welcoming bunch and although it might be a little daunting attending your first session, you'll be met with friendly faces and will instantly feel part ...of the team. Also just a reminder to bring some money for the breakfast. How much you spend is up to you with all money going to Bendigo Bank's bushfire appeal. We will be frying up some bacon, eggs, tomato and mushroom on the BBQ and will provide bread/rolls. We will also have instant coffee and some breakfast juices to share around. Can't wait to see you all! Bring on the season ahead!

18.01.2022 ONGOING AFLW PRESEASON TRAINING ARRANGEMENTS Thank you to everyone who came down to the first preseason training session of season 2020. It was a great session filled with beach running, boxing and light footy skills. Moving forward, training will be held at Doug Denyer Reserve on Monday nights at 6pm and Mordialloc Pier on Thursday nights at 6pm. We are seeking nominations for the positions of President, Secretary and Treasurer for our AFLW team for the 2020 season. Please contact current senior club secretary, Jan Mildenhall, if you would like a nomination form.

16.01.2022 As our planning for the 2020 season commences, we are looking to finalise our Coaching appointment. Any interested parties for the position of Coach for our Senior Women's team are invited to submit their expression of interest, along with details of their coaching experience, accreditations, etc to AFLW President, Annie Baldwin (Email : [email protected]). Applications close on the 30th September with interviews following.... A decision will be made by the 11th October.

All you need to do it participate 40 mins of your time. It is so exciting to see so many enthusiastic women coming down to training so early in the season and congratulations to all of those today who came for their first session. We are also excited to announce that we raised $337.00 for Bendigo Banks bushfire disaster appeal. A big thanks to Mike, Rhonda & Steph for cooking the BBQ and for all of your generous donations. We will be cooking up a breakfast BBQ with money spent going towards Bendigo Banks bushfire appeal. Training kicks off at 9am with breakfast being served between 10-11am. If youve ever thought of playing footy or joining the Bloods, come down for a light session to meet the team. If you arent that keen on footy, come down to enjoy a breakfast, support the team and a great cause. Hope to see you there!
