21.01.2022 this week Mordy Rovers headed down to Edithvale Fire Brigade (CFA) to check everything out! we had a great time - we had a full tour of the station, shot some water out of a hose, and got to check out some different vehicles. a huge thanks to the guys and gals at Edithvale CFA for having us! we absolutely loved it

20.01.2022 Tonight we had the whole crew together for a business meeting! Weve welcomed Lizzy and Miss to the crew, finally invested Rachael, and awarded some badges to Stephie, Jamie, Tom and Rachael. All in all a great start to the year!

20.01.2022 Introducing Mordys crew leader, Tom! Toms been a part of Scouting for 15 years now, since his start in Cubs. As well as being a member of our crew, he is a Venturer leader, and an active part of both Melbourne Gang Show and South Metro Showtime. In his spare time Tom enjoys scuba diving and playing boardgames.

17.01.2022 Tonight after our in house movie night, we had a short badgework meeting for Rachael to have her service badge, and in turn her St George Award, approved by the crew, signed off and presented!

16.01.2022 The next member of our crew wed like you all to meet is Stephie! Stephie is our treasurer, and has been a scout since all the way back in Joeys! Since then she has been a cast member of South Metro Showtime, went to Iceland for the World Moot, and has been on the MARB committee!

11.01.2022 Yesterday, as a part of the Rovers Victoria Blood Challenge, crew member Rachael rolled up her sleeve and gave blood. The Rover Blood Challenge is a great initiative, and all those who are able should get out there and donate!

04.01.2022 Last night we had a cooking night, and by cooking we became creative with food. In teams we had two challenges. Our first challenge had us creating a meal that didnt need to be cooked. Our second challenge had us making animals out of food, something that produced some scary sights. A fun night was had with Mordy Rovers :)

03.01.2022 Tonight we went and helped out our friends at the Edithvale Scout group with their haunted house. Lots of good costumes, scares and fun! Happy Halloween!

03.01.2022 This week we are introducing you to Ellie, our assistant crew leader! Ellie has been in scouting on and off for the last 13 years since she started in Cub Scouts, and is currently a very active Rover! She, like Tom, has been a part of both South Metro Showtime and Melbourne Gang Show. In her time away from scouts she enjoys travelling, baking, and photography.

03.01.2022 Tonight Mordy Rovers used our deductive spy skills and played code names from home! Lots of fun with games!

02.01.2022 This morning Mordy Rover Crew attended the Mentone ANZAC Day memorial ceremony, marching up Mentone Parade to the RSL. Crew leader Tom also laid a wreath on behalf of 4th Mordialloc Sea Scouts, alongside our littlest cub scout, Madisson. It was great to see so many other scouts and young people in attendance! Lest we forget.
