08.01.2022 #firstday is a little different at the moment! A fortnight ago, Better Hearing Australia Victoria Inc welcomed Dr Siobhan McGinnity to our More Than Just Ears team. To welcome Siobhan, I made the trip to everyone's house to deliver-at a distance- baked goods (not by me!) so that we could enjoy an online morning tea together. And so Siobhan could see someone's face on her first day while wearing UggBoots :) Siobhan has taken on a Communication and Connection Coach role, where... her primary goals are to ensure Tinnitus Australia (an initiative of BHA Vic) can support wellbeing for people impacted by tinnitus and to create a novel tinnitus service. Siobhan, who recently completed her internationally award-winning PhD, brings her audiological professional background and personal lived experience to her passion for #safelistening in the music industry; she is a forward thinking clinician and outstanding creative pionear of a person who strive for #hearingequality.
