That is those people who happily criticise others, yet they are living train wrecks of lives themselves .... Like the plumber that has a leaky tap the marriage counselor that has been divorced 3 times or yes, the financial planner that is carrying $20,000 worth of credit card debt. Funnily enough I have clients that are financial planners themselves, paying full fees and when I asked why they engaged me their response was because without you James nothing would get done. 13.01.2022 More4life survey results We have received the results of the survey and are delighted to report that across all categories we scored an average of 4.43 out of 5. Interestingly, the industry average is 4.23, thus our result puts us in the top quartile. While we are proud of the continued improvement in our results, the survey also highlighted areas where there is the need for improvement. This year we had a much larger response than in previous years, having a 31.1% take u...p from our survey. The most pleasing score that we received from you was for the Financial Review Process, where we scored 4.35 with the national average being 4.00. This score places us at the top of the first quartile benchmark. We are particularly pleased with this result as we understand financial planning is not a quick fix. Its knowing that thousands of small changes make a real difference. Another pleasing but not unexpected result was the high score for the Key Performance Area Standard of Support Staff Jill, Nicky and Alison. We scored 4.59 out of a possible 5 with the national average being 4.39. Interesting that two thirds of all respondents rated our support staff a perfect 5. Thanks again JWP

08.01.2022 We have need doing some work with Terry Bell from business health in determining how valuable different clients relationships are with our firm. Pretty much all our clients came up as strong relationships (over75%) but there was one client in particular that stood out on the metrics that Terry supplied. . This metrics included Time ,Trust , Loyalty ,Multi- generational relationships ,Does the client refer, Enjoyable to work with , Having all their assets with the firm and does the client utilize all our services Brenda Rowlands ticked all these boxes and even invited not only me but my whole family to her 80th birthday party. 07.01.2022 Let me fill you in on two childhood goals of mine. Growing up in a family where money was always in short supply, I did not want to have to worry about money Even though I grew up in a poor family the friends I grew up with came from families that where moderately well to do. I often wondered about the secret of wealth. It was my friend Nick Garlings father , Max who sat 15 or so of us down and explained it was not what your earned so much as what you did with your earnings.... That sage piece of advice has never left me. Who would have thought I have repeated that same advice every working day for the last 31 years? My other goal was to marry a smoking hot girl. I put the success of that goal down to luck and the fact there is a god. What I mean by that is their goals, aspirations, and fears. Not only for themselves but for those they care about.... I always without fail walk out of a client meeting more knowledgeable than when I walked in. Conversely, I pity those people who have rusted on beliefs and are to stupid to listen to other peoples points of view. Everyone has a story and something to give. All you need to do is listen. Its up to us as parents to enhance the things we like about ourselves in front of our children and avoid where possible the traits that we are not so proud of . We also have a responsibility to not put up with traits that will not advance them in society
