22.01.2022 CLASS of the WEEK - 2/3C and Miss Chudleigh After pretending to go on an excursion to Byron Bay and studying the book "Hello Lighthouse" by Sophie Blackall, we have been inspired to think about living in a lighthouse. We have done writing workshops which included learning about, and using metaphors and personification. We created diary entries from our pretend excursion. 2/3C are learning about the power of words!

13.01.2022 KA have been learning about the needs of living things in science. To demonstrate our new learning, we brainstormed what we would need for a healthy vegetable garden. We taste tested a range of vegetables and then decided what vegetables to plant. We worked very hard to fill our garden beds with soil. We planted seedlings; some of which we grew from seeds. Watch this space for updates on how our garden is growing!
