25.01.2022 Ok guys the date for the presentation is not going to work with so many club members not being available for the 30th November. So just asking for suggestions on the following dates 13th, 20th being Friday nights or do we look at having a Sunday afternoon presentation with maybe lunch instead of dinner on the 8th, 15th or 22nd of December. 23.01.2022 To all clubs, volunteers, competitors, and their families. You are obviously all aware of the current Covid-19 (Coronavirus) threat facing the community. Motorc...ycling NSW has been working with the NSW Office Of Sport to keep ourselves aware of the situation and what it means for our sport. Here is the latest from the Department of health; On 15 March 2020, NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard made an Order under Section 7 of the Public Health Act 2010 to force the immediate cancellation of major events with more than 500 people. Individuals who fail to comply could face up to six months in prison or a fine of up to $11,000 or both, plus additional penalties for each day the offence continues. Corporations face even harsher fines. The Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) has also recommended that events that utilize healthcare professionals and emergency services also be cancelled, and as such we have already been notified by a couple of the organizations who provide first aid and paramedic services to our events around the state that they will no longer be available. Our team at MNSW will be working in the next day or so with all of our clubs and promoters to determine exactly what events are coming up, and the best way to handle the impact of this announcement on those events. In some cases, events may be able to go ahead under the current guidelines, although event structures may need to be changed in some cases. Obviously, our larger events will need to be rescheduled or cancelled, but at this stage we do not have any indication of when this situation will change, so any postponement will be indefinite at present. We will work together with our clubs to get us all through this period as best we can, and we will keep you notified of any changes to the official position from the NSW Government as soon as we hear anything. Obviously this is disappointing for all of us, but the safety of our community obviously must come first, and in the meantime we will take advantage of any down time to work with our clubs and make improvements to the sport so that when we are ready to fire things up again, we can have a sport that is even better than it was before David Cooke CEO

14.01.2022 MMC 2021 dates covid stays away, we are also looking for helpers for the King of Mx the day before on Friday 12th for setting up banners, flags & bunting. We are also in need of canteen people, toilet & shower managers, gate keepers to man the gate for camping and covid sign on app. If you can help in any way please let us know. 14.01.2022 The Upper Horton Trail Ride was to be held on the 30th and 31st of May 2020. As a result of the current health pandemic, we have decided to postpone the event until late August or early September for our own safety. Please watch our FB site as we will be announcing a new date as soon as some certainty is obtained in the current situation. We would like you to continue supporting this event as it is a great trail ride and provides a significant fund raiser for the Upper Horton community. The rain at Upper Horton has rejuvenated the area and the tracks available would have been excellent. Apologies for those who were preparing for the event but our decision has been made in the interests of all involved.

A lot has been going on over the last past several months behind the scenes to get our water issues sorted, a BIG BIG THANK YOU to Peter Taylor for the countless hours he has spent writing letters, sending emails & talking to a lot of people and different departments to make this happen You are a legend Pete So, as you all can appreciate, No Water = No Riding, now that we have water were keen to get on the tr...ack. So, this means we need help to get organised. We’re having a working bee this Saturday & any time you can spare would be appreciated, we’ll need people to help do a quick tidy up of the grounds, clean & stock the bathrooms and canteen. On Sunday, we will need people to of course volunteer to flag and be in the canteen. As per usual all riders MUST bring a flaggie. Track maintenance- Neil Loder Licencing- Peter Taylor Canteen- Chrissy Jennings & Claire Van vegchel 2020 is going to be a tough year for the club with still no water access at this stage. In saying that we agreed that we will be holding a practice day on short notice after a rain event where possible and are still moving forward to try open the stadium track once the track is approved and licensed for practice days as it will be easier to manage with a possible water truck if we can find a kind person to donate one for the day.
