25.01.2022 Morella Community Centre will recommence most of our classes and activities from Monday 30th November. Where practical and where we are unable to ensure appropriate social distancing, classes have been moved online for the remainder of the year. We ask anyone coming into the centre to follow all SA Health hygiene and social distancing recommendations.

24.01.2022 Thank you Madhavi Parker from Positive Minds Australia for joining us to unpack what cultural safety means for children and young people. Last week Morella launched it's newest project "Safer Communities- Standing together Parafield Gardens". This project aims to understand the scale and impact of religious and racial intolerances towards families, children and young people in our area. Based on this information the project will develop a framework to support organisations to provide culturally and religiously safe services in our community. This project funded by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources

22.01.2022 Our Community Garden was featured on South Aussie with Cosi The Community Garden space is an important resource in our centre to assist deliver Health & Wellbeing programs, Adult Community Education programs and Social Inclusion programs to our community. The space is also an essential nature play resource for children using our creche facility. The Friends of the Garden group who lovingly look after our Community Garden space is an inclusive group of age, ability, cultural background, religious beliefs and/or skills. The group meet once every week where they decide what to grow and how to maintain the space for all to use. Opportunities for sharing and forming connections has also been made through excursions, cooking sessions, craft activites and much more.
