24.01.2022 Helpful #COVID19 update from Canberra Health Services. If you are unwell with respiratory symptoms, particularly fever and cough please seek advice from GP or CHS facilities as we are not an emergency practice and do not have facilities to diagnose or manage acutely unwell patients. Please defer your specialist appointment until you recover. We understand infections are unpredictable and will do our best to accomodate an adjusted appointment.

24.01.2022 Patricia’s husband is a former veterinarian and is living with Alzheimer’s disease. 21.01.2022 We are so proud of Canberra's response to risk of COVID-19 infection. There have been no reports of community transmission in the ACT. This is a good sign for the coronavirus outbreak in our community. Social isolation, and staying home has worked well in Australia controlling the COVID-19 pandemic, but there are some challenges, particularly for our older patients. Here's a great discussion about why continuing to exercise is important and how it might be achieved at home.

20.01.2022 Our thoughts are with all those affected by bushfires and smoke across the ACT, NSW and Victoria. The magnitude of the suffering and devastation is profound. We all know someone affected and are thinking of so many of you. The challenge and risks continue. The ACT Government has declared a 'State of Alert'. Check you have a fire plan and know your local resources. Check www.esa.act.gov.au for more information. We look forward to seeing you in what we hope are better times when we reopen in mid-January.
