24.01.2022 Jeff and Sam caught some fresh mackerel for dinner on one of our half day charters,With a lot of mackerel on the move in the bay at the moment,I still have a few day's available over the next couple of weeks if you would like to chase mackerel with Moreton bay fishing charters.

23.01.2022 After a slow start to the morning, We ended up with a variety of fish being caught and released on a half day charter, young Sid was unstoppable catching everything from squire,bream ,mackerel, tailor and to end a great day he landed a nice tusks fish to put some colour in the esky,it's a good time of the year to chase all types of fish that Moreton bay has to offer.

22.01.2022 After winning a half day charter voucher for 2 at Marine Care QLD open day last year, Lyle and Damian decided to take advantage of the great weather and see what Moreton bay has to offer, We started the day with a number of squire and sweetlip being caught and released as we moved around the bay and ended the day with 65 nice whiting in the esky.A special thanks to Marine Care at Redland bay for their ongoing support and quality workmanship.

21.01.2022 Justin and I went out looking for different species that the bay has to offer yesterday and he definitely was very surprised, we started off chasing flathead and he come up trumps with a pb of 67 cm then we went searching for some mackeral and before we knew it we had 2 onboard,so as we headed back in we were lucky enough to end the day with a nice size bream and a couple of sandies ,It is good to see that the bay has a lot to offer if you put in the time and effort

21.01.2022 Another beautiful morning in Moreton bay with a couple of nice fish to top it off , 2 mackerel,2 quality bream and a couple of sandcrabs made up for another great day on Moreton bay charters.

20.01.2022 Another beautiful day on Moreton bay charters with Paula,Meg,Clancy and Darcy only got better with Meg bringing a nice Moreton bay snapper to the surface after Clancy dropped a bigger snapper beside the boat, Then he was lucky enough to catch another good pan size fish while Darcy helped me collect some bait,To add to the catch we ended up with a few quality whiting to end a great half day charter.It is good to see the younger generation out enjoying what Moreton bay has to offer.

19.01.2022 Now the weather has settled down and the holidays have started, it is great to see a lot of people getting out and spending some quality time with the family, Chris and his son Sully have traveled from England to enjoy the holidays in Australia and go fishing with there relatives and a absolutely great day was had by all, with Alasdair and Sully taking turns at catching a variety of fish and Andrew and his uncle Chris keeping scores and enjoying each other's company the day ended with some great memories and some stories to tell, we still have a few days in January if you would like to get the family out for some fishing and enjoying what Moreton bay has to offer please call Steven from Moreton bay charters.

18.01.2022 A few photos from the last couple of days on charters around the bay, Mitch,Chloe and Kevin caught dinner and Andrew and I tried a variety of methods from floatlining pilchards,metal slugs and trolling to fill the esky,I have been to various locations around the bay in the last couple of days and the school mackerel are in most areas at around 4 to 5 metres of water and are great fun on light gear

14.01.2022 Smiles for miles aboard Moreton bay charters today,I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Levi, Cash,Kade and their fathers Craig and Paul on a half day charter, Playing around the southern end of the bay fishing and enjoying what Moreton bay has to offer, all the boys caught a number of fish and they each caught some beautiful mackerel to take home for dinner, it's great to see the young blokes having a great time and learning about different types of fishing,if you would like to get kids out and about call Steven 0433732310.

13.01.2022 Vincent put the pressure on early and said his wife Maria wanted to catch a big fish so we played around catching some sandcrabs and getting there young children comfortable on the boat then we headed out in search of some fish, after a couple of bream and some small squire we decided to get serious, after locating some bait and putting in some ground work Maria hooked up a nice 80cm jewie and after some long runs and some teamwork it came to the surface, with Christmas getting close and the fishing getting better if you would like to get the family out for some fishing and enjoying what Moreton bay has to offer give us a call as this time of the year is getting busy.

13.01.2022 Posted by Steven Beatty the skipper of Moreton bay charters,After a perfect sunrise the day could only get better, we headed out early to fish a few different locations in Moreton bay and after losing a school mackerel and getting busted off in some structure we decided to head north to finish off a half day charter on a good note , we decided to chase some whiting up in the rous channel and with Gary ,Diane and Nelson catching 40 nice fish we headed back to check the crab pots before the wind come up,we were lucky enough to put 5 sandcrabs in the esky to end a great day on board Moreton bay charters.

12.01.2022 After a beautiful sunrise we decided to try some different techniques for fishing around the bay and it definitely made for a busy day,young Cruz outfished the family with a variety of fish coming to the surface, John, Nick and his dad mike had a hard time keeping up with the young gun, we ended up with 14 school mackerel, 2 bream and a flathead which was caught on a 15 gram gold twister to top the day off,if you would like to get the family out for some fishing in and around Moreton bay call 0433732310 and jump onboard for a great family day out.

11.01.2022 Another great day out on the water with lots of laughs and a few good fish caught and lost at the boat kept Roger Shelley and Margaret busy for most of the day,Shelley caught a nice mackerel and a good pan size snapper and then to top of the day we decided to chase some whiting off banks with a total of 32 whiting in the esky at the end of day.

07.01.2022 Another beautiful day on Moreton bay charters for the winners of the triple m dash for cash draw for the Moreton bay fishing classic 2019, David and Jack spent the day with myself and Peter from mossops at Cleveland chasing a variety of fish that Moreton bay has to offer, after a tough morning we ended up with a nice Spanish flag and some quality whiting before heading back for the official weigh in with young Jack winning a great prize from the sponsors of the competition,a special thank you to all the sponsors, competitors and all the people involved for a great family competition and a great day for all involved.

06.01.2022 I had the pleasure of spending some of Saturday day with Brett and his son James on a half day charter in the bay ,James ticked another species of his list with a nice mackerel for the morning while Brett tried to even the score but time was against us,it was a great effort from James to get the fish to the boat on his own, good job mate, we have also had a few flathead starting to move around the bay and the zerek fishtraps are bringing a few to the surface so if anyone is interested please call me on 0433732310
