14.01.2022 John Dow’s bakery and general store, Gympie Road Strathpine ca. 1924. Dow’s Store was an imposing two-storey timber building on the western side of Gympie Road near today’s Mile Creek Hotel. There was a residence above the store. The Post Office, which first opened in Strathpine Railway Station, was relocated here in 1895. ... Check out the old car at the front of the building!
