15.01.2022 Moreton Cricket is looking for two cricketers to tour Sri Lanka with their U 16 Team on thieir 18th Annual tour of Sri Lanka to be held during the Easter Holidays from 6th to 19th April 2019. Players will play Five games against competitive teams drawn from Colleges and cricket Acadamies in Sri Lanka.Matches will be played on first Class and International Test Venues. It is a great opportunity for young players who are looking forward to improving their skill levels and als...o visiting a beautiful country now voted by Planet Earth as the number one tourist destination In the world. Past players who have toured with Moreton Cricket and have represented Queensland are Chris Lynne, Ben Dunk, Nathan McSweeney and Sam Heazlett. 07.01.2022 "Moreton Cricket Tour 2016 Neluwa Project" The 2016 Moreton Cricket Tour of Sri Lanka has collectively raised an impressive $17,560 for the Neluwa district. With these funds we were able to fund building 4 houses (with an approximate cost of Rs 300,000/=) for the most deserving and impoverished families, purchase sports equipment to ten schools and refurbished playgrounds for seven schools (both with a relative value of Rs 30,000/= each) and also fund the six a side cricke...t tournament which allowed our boys the opportunity to socialise with the Neluwa children. We would like to thank everyone for their generous support.

04.01.2022 Moreton Cricket Tour of Sri Lanka 2018 has come to an end with lots of happy memories and very good cricketing experience... Visit to the Thispane Kanda School was the most touched highlight of the tour which brought tears to many of us... Therefore Moreton Cricket has decided to continue helping this beautiful school in the next year as well... We are delighted to announce that the fund raiser has already started yesterday by auctioning cricketing gear donated by Martin Love.. So far we have collected Rs. 173,000 which includes a financial donation of Rs. 36,560 by Greg Bartlett.... We will keep you posted about the progression. We would like to thank each and everyone in Moreton Cricket Tour group of 2018 for your participation and support... Looking forward to seeing many faces in 2019..
